User sign-in question

Hi All,

 

I'm new to Emby and I fell in love with it immediately, so I purchased it
I have one question though, I want to know how to make a new user sign-in as himself when he provides me with the PIN code from his streamer?

When I want to add someone to my Emby server, I go into settings and create a new user.

But when the user is sending me the PIN code I must enter my email and password and what happens is that the user is logged in with my user instead of his

Please help me solve this small issue.

First you create a local user on your server for the individual, the user would have to create a Connect account, then you add their Connect Username to that account in the optional field. Then they should be using their info on the Pin url.

So the user is registering through this  link:

And then under Users > username > I the link that was generated? or email address?

Hi.  Note that you don't have to register and use Emby Connect.  You could just give the user the address of your server and their local user/pw that you create.
