robertxgonzalez 6 Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 KIII - Corpus Christi, TX has added to two (2) new Over the Air (OTA) channels with affiliations as follows; 3.5 (True Crime Networks) and 3.6 (Quest). I noticed that Titan TV has picked up programing data but Emby has not. Can you please nudge the folks who provide this data to Emby Guide data to check into this please so correct guide information is available in Emby Guide data. Zip Code is 78411. thanks! 5002 South Padre Island Dr. Corpus Christi, TX 78411 361-986-8300. 361-986-8311 [fax] www.kiiitv.com Thanks! Robert
Carlo 4560 Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 This has probably been long enough that these should show up. I just traded messages with you in PM so I know they haven't yet. I'm reaching out to our provider to get this taken care of for you.
robertxgonzalez 6 Posted February 25, 2022 Author Posted February 25, 2022 Thanks. The station just started broadcasting at the start of the month. I know it takes a couple weeks to get the provider to sync the new data. We have had several new stations in the past year and suspect more in the next couple years.
Carlo 4560 Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 I just sent you a PM but actually meant to put it here. I just receive a request from our guide provider asking if we can give them the call letters for these new stations. Would you be able to get me that info?
robertxgonzalez 6 Posted February 25, 2022 Author Posted February 25, 2022 Just sent. Let me know if you need anything else!
robertxgonzalez 6 Posted February 25, 2022 Author Posted February 25, 2022 This link details all of them for area code 78412 for KIII channels 3.1 through 3.6 Corpus Christi TV Channels - 78412 TV Antenna – Channel Master
Carlo 4560 Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 I have not received any news from them on this so I asked for an update. Hopefully we will hear back something on Monday or Tuesday.
robertxgonzalez 6 Posted March 28, 2022 Author Posted March 28, 2022 thank you. As of today, still a no go.
robertxgonzalez 6 Posted April 5, 2022 Author Posted April 5, 2022 Emby is still not picking up the two new channels. Not sure what the provider is looking for. Meanwhile, TitanTV (see below using Zip Code 78363 ) has been carrying the two channels and data. If the provider is waiting for the channels to actually post on their website, then is not a good approach as they sometimes take a few months as happened with COMET TV when it first appeared. The channels are over the air, viewable on any TV in this area but Emby Guide data is not providing the available information for Emby. BTW, a new TV channel appears to be up and running as of today; 10.3 on KZTV. I will acquire information before submitting. TitanTV already has it too. thanks!
Carlo 4560 Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 I haven't heard anything from them. I just sent our rep an email asking for an update.
robertxgonzalez 6 Posted April 15, 2022 Author Posted April 15, 2022 Thanks! This is weird. Usually they make adjustment in 3 weeks.
robertxgonzalez 6 Posted May 31, 2022 Author Posted May 31, 2022 Anything? Over 3 1/2 months now and still no programing coming to Emby. BTW, we now have a new channel but will hold until these two come on line. @cayars
Carlo 4560 Posted May 31, 2022 Posted May 31, 2022 It is strange. Just looked at the follow up message I sent our rep and he never responded. I sent him another email to find out what's going on with Corpus Christy. If I don't hear back in 2 days I'll call him. Carlo
robertxgonzalez 6 Posted June 1, 2022 Author Posted June 1, 2022 As a FYI, I did a cut & paste from one of my TV tuners so you can see Channels 3.5 and 3.6 online. In addiiton the latest TV channel is 47.3 (Cicle) which is NBC / LX. Tuner on my TV shows the same channels.
Solution robertxgonzalez 6 Posted July 7, 2022 Author Solution Posted July 7, 2022 FYI, Emby is now pulling the correct data for Channels 3.5 and 3.6. Whoever is running Emby Data (your rep) is a bit "unhurried" in their support but finally they got around to it. Thank you! Now there is another channel that needs to be in the data base. Will submit separately. Robert 1
