rod626 3 Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 My emby server has two accounts, each with access to their own library, but not the other person's library. Person A (31/m) has a bunch of collections, while person B (29/f) has none. However, when Person B logs in, she sees a "collections" folder thumbnails showing the collections that are in Person A's library. If she clicks in to the "collections" folder, she cannot browse or view the other user's collections (because permissions are set to forbid her from accessing his library). But the damage has already been done, because she has seen vivid visual representation of what's in his collections. How to make the UI honor the permissions, so she can't peep into his collections?

Or Collections library auto-generated poster in My Media. Either way, @rod626, just manually assign image (three-dot menu>Edit images) for either Collections library or any individual collection within.

Yes, my issue was with the image set as "Primary" under "Edit Images" for the collection. If I delete or set that to something else, it affects all users. I suppose there is no way for the thumbnail to be different on a per-user basis? If not, the workaround to just delete it or set it to something "safe" for all users is acceptable. Thanks very much to both of you for the swift reply

Yeah, just assign some "neutral" (innocent? ) image; if you only delete it, it will be auto-generated again with random items within, basically what you have now - whether those randomly picked will be acceptable - that's anyone's guess.
