lordkarl 1 Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 I would like to see collections (or a new Groups option) to allow you to hide the items in the Collection/Group in the library list but have a Collection/Group Icon in that list that when opened displays the items in said Collection/Group. This would allow easier navigation of the library (less items to scroll through) and keep like items in the same place. Thanks Karl 1
Solution Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 5, 2022 Solution Posted February 5, 2022 Sorry but that is what the per library option Group items into collections already does, unless I have misunderstood the request. 2
lordkarl 1 Posted February 5, 2022 Author Posted February 5, 2022 That doesn't do it on my LG WebOS client or the emby-theater client on linux (probably not official). With that checked browsing the movies still shows all 24 James Bond movies and no collection/group icon at all. What am I doing wrong? It doesn't even do it in the folders tab, not the preferred method of browsing but even doing it that way nothing is grouped. Those collections are in the collections folder but that is not what I am talking about. Would like those icons located in the library browse window and all the contents of those collections removed from said browse window until the collection icon is clicked. Thanks Karl - hoping I am missing something obvious.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 (edited) Unless you have have a client issue or you have different Filters/Sort order items do get grouped. Overlay if from CoverArt plugin. What is your library sort order and do you have any filter options enabled? grouped ungrouped Folder tab is exactly that your folder structure and has nothing to do with other tabs. (but does a have group in to collection option but I don't uses as I already have that folder structure) I have no images in this folder, so Emby used first movie in folder and folder icon is washed out do to white on white. updated image Edited February 5, 2022 by Happy2Play added image
