we87 0 Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 I'm using Windows 10 with latest emby server, installation is fairly new (less than a year old) and I noticed I was basically out of space on my boot ssd. The emby folder in the windows app library folder is 60gb. All of my emby library entries are set to store images with video files, and I do not have video thumbnails to generate that option is turned off. Those are the two things I've read people here saying to do that reduces the size of this folder, but I already have those options turned on and still have the big folder size. I do not have live tv setup, and I do not transcode anything. Clients are mostly other Windows 10 PCs and a Google TV if that matters. Is there something else I can try to do?
GrimReaper 4762 Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 That's surely depending on your library size, but if I were you I'd use any of the Disk Space analyzing tools to see what's actually eating that much space and if any file type stands out.
Luke 42086 Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Hi, have you looked into what folder exactly is using the most space?
Happy2Play 9785 Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Even though you say you don't transcode, the first place I would look is the transcode-temp folder. Then your metadata folder as I have a server where the people folder is 62Gb+.
Solution we87 0 Posted January 21, 2022 Author Solution Posted January 21, 2022 I deeply apologize, please remove this thread. I confused one folder for another. My emby folder is just fine at 7gbs.
