Movies only show up in library when doing full scan

Hello,

I have emby running on a QNAP TS-453D. It all runs smooth and well, emby is awesome!!

My issue is this:

When adding movies to my movie library, emby will not  add them in real time, nor will it add them when I do a specific movie library scan (this will work just fine for TV shows).

When doing a full scan over all libraries, movies will show up just fine.

This may be a workaround. However, I don't want to have to do this every time, as I have a huge photo library and the scan takes forever.

I am running the current version 4.6.7.0

Is this a known issue? Will there be a fix?

I just noticed that it didn't work for TV Shows either.

so I stopped the emby server, killed it on OS level and started it backup.

now both TV shows and movies are scanned on a library-specific scan and will show up just fine.

my apologies!

 

but maybe this will help someone else trouble shooting
