Can't sign into server even though it is up and running

On the front page of the emby server dashboard. Are you able to use the web interface on the server machine?

Hi there,

I have the same problem on my iPhone app. Same message. Running 4.4.3.0-1 on my Synology. I don't know how to get the update since I have Auto-update selected.
Any idea how to solve this?

Thanks for your reply @Luke. I appreciate that.

Meanwhile I found the new installation file for my server and installed it. Unfortunately I had to configure the setup all over again, so I had to create all the libraries again. Is that normal, or did I do something wrong?

Hi, it's not normal but not surprising given that there were two major changes at play here. I assume you're running DSM 7, right? So not only is it a brand newly developed Emby server install package, but it's also the DSM 6 to 7 migration that we're up against here:

Apologies for the disruption. If the old data directories are still around, then in theory it might be possible to port some of them into the new one, although there are benefits to a fresh database.

Still on DSM 6 on a DS214Play, so no change there.

Anyway, I got it all up and running again with some (extra) work. It's fine again now.

I installed the right new version of Emby for my server and eventually had to create all my libraries again. But it works again, so I’m happy I got it all up and running again :-)
