Two Hopefully Simple Questions

1. A remote user was trying to run something, it was transcoding H264 to H264 for the reason pictured below:

Where is this bitrate limit and can I change it or make it unlimited?  The only thing I can see is the last setting in the Network area but it was blank, so I'm not sure what is tripping it up.

2. I have a mixed content library mixing anime series and movies.  I noticed a show from this library that I've watched isn't showing up under Continue Watching even though in my Home settings, it's set to do so.  Is that something mixed content libraries can't do?

Thanks in advance for any help.

For the first issue, try exploring the 'Users' section and having a look at any possible bitrate limits set there on their profile.

Thanks for the quick reply.  I missed that there was a setting in there, but it's also blank.

On each client app you have to set the playback to max (4k 120mbit), the default auto setting is what is triggering the transcode.
But if your connection speed is below the original bitrate you wont be able to play those videos.

Gotcha, I bet that's probably it.  I assumed Auto was sort of a "max quality" setting but I guess it makes sense that under certain circumstances Auto might impose limits.  I'll have them change that setting next time they try and see if it direct plays or if they have issues with the original bitrate.
