Hello everyone,

I have this message when I want to watch a movie. For information, I changed my NAS for a DS420+.

I want to reset to be sure the problem is not with Emby but with my Synology.

Thanks

I found the solution of my problem after a few hours😂, it was on the Synology.

Yep, giving permission to Emby so it can access the files is usually a good idea. :)
That new system internal user is a brand new thing in DSM 7 that takes a bit of getting used to.  It was done by Synology to harden the platform and be more secure.  So overall it's a good thing but they could have done a better job of educating users of this new method to grant access rights during the DSM 7 upgrade.

Thanks for the update on your status and happy streaming!
