Delete Live TV channels

Hi,

I have problems to remove old Live TV channels from channel list. I have read Threads from 2019 in this forum, but I can not solve this problem.

I have added an .m3u in Live TV/DVR (for example 100 channels). This works fine. When I remove this Tuner, the channels in the Live TV library remain but can not be played. When I add another m3u file with 100 channels, I have 200 channels in Live TV library (100 old ones which can not be played and 100 new channels).

 

 

In channel section in the settings there are only the new 100 channels. That is correct:

Solved this problem. I had to refresh Guide. I did this multiple times before but it did not work

You have to wait for the guide refresh to fully finish before looking at it.
What I like to do in situations like this is remove all the tuners I don't want and refresh guide.
Verify the channels are gone.
Then add the new tuners and go from there.

It's a two step process but I like this better.
Also if I'm going to be playing around or adjusting things I'll go into the DVR menu and set the EPG days to load to 1 or 2 days as well.  This makes loading much faster for testing.  Then once you have things set the way you want you can set it back to auto or specify the specific days to load.
