jdazzle44 7 Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 I have been trying to get tone mapping working for the last few days but no luck. I have attached my settings, the log file and a picture from the movie showing the washed out 1080p transcode vs 4k direct. Another note is that VAAPI does not work for me. ffmpeg-transcode-96918826-b174-469a-815d-71e517107849_1.txt
Luke 42079 Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 Hi there, why do you think it's not working?

Touz604 11 Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 I'm interested also in this, I had similar results regarding the tone mapping part when I was testing it last week. I don't know if the example screenshots are representative of the expected output of the tone mapping functionality.

You can install the "Diagnostics Plugin" from the plugin catalog to configure tone mapping parameters (the default settings are not always the best choice).
