roberto188 33 Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 (edited) I rolled back to a previous version of Emby because of issues. I renamed the system folder to system.old and simply replaced the system folder with one in the zip file. Emby opens fine but when it try to add my media folders I get the following error: There was an error adding the media path. Please ensure the path is valid and the Emby Server process has access to that location. I have changed nothing as mentioned above, simply replaced the system folder with a different one and now I can't get the server to access any of my media folders. Any ideas? Carlo 4561 Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Hi, you're getting errors in your database from schema changes. "SQLitePCL.pretty.SQLiteException: Error: no such column: A.Genres - select..." You need to upgrade back to the version you were running or remove the database so Emby can recreate them with the old database schema. You can run them mixed like this.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Yes most major versions do include database changes so rolling back to 4.5.4.0 can be problematic. 1

Solution Happy2Play 9783 Posted September 22, 2021 Solution Posted September 22, 2021 1 minute ago, roberto188 said: How do I remove the database? Shut down Emby, go to Data path: C:\Users\Media Center\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\data and rename/delete library.db, start Emby and do a library scan to rebuild.
