Just an added Note: Why not stick with what works? And test the new stuff? Note: EBR still seems to take pride in making the ATV app Great Some day the other version will be better, but after many years it’s still not!3 points

Your drive has bad sectors and is starting to fail. Instead of buying from Amazon I would suggest goharddrive or ServerPartDeals. They both sell refurbished drives with 2-5 year warranties. 12TB with 5 year warranty "only" $320 (they used to be $75 before the AI/Surveillance Centre Apocalypse) 24TB with 5 year warranty for $560 I have personally bought from goharddrive in the past, and lots of users on reddit do as well. If you can come to Canada, you can get drives for cheaper shipped out of the states..24TB external for $660 CDN, or $474 USD..2 points

Okay I’ve been testing this and it seems like for mobile apps and remote users it will select the secondary audio automatically IF the second track is flagged as default in the mkv container. For example: my movie has 2 tracks. First track is Dolby trueHd, and second is eac3 compatibility. If both are labeled as default, remote users and my phone will automatically play the second track. And devices that can natively play trueHd, will play that one. However, it only works automatically if both are labeled as default. If my secondary audio track does not have “yes” enabled in the container, the apps don’t automatically select it. Not saying this is wrong, but this is what I’ve discovered on how to get it working.1 point

No throttling in UK. GIG1 connection (actually around 1170mbps as over provisioned) with 107mbps on average upload using DocSIS 3.1. Client devices using full fibre from 3 other ISP's (symmetric on those) and these have superb ping and jitter times. Not ISP crap routers either. It has never detected WAN speed correctly in any Emby version for years. Always have to set a static value and then everything direct plays (media is compatible on all devices without transcoding). Without setting fixed speed of say 30mbps, an 11mbps TV Show will try at transcode at 4mbps (with nothing else using the upload).1 point

One doesn't need to - but if you (personally, I'm quite anal when it comes to curating my collection, and I suppose I ain't the only one) want infinitely more control, more providers and more granulation in metadata/artwork fetching (to name just a few), TMM is leagues ahead. And that's OK, it is purposely built software for that exact functionality - Emby has a lot more on its plate.1 point

That is most likely because you are not following the proper naming conventions: Movies, TV, Music ...1 point

Nice plugin I like it.. Any plans to add in an option to force re-detection of intros? There's an option for Detect Credits, but really need something that can force intro re-detection.1 point

The plugin takes the posters aspect ratio and uses a % of that to scale the icons and placement. I can certainly add an option to use 2:3 scaling, pretty easily even, i'm just not sure if it will negatively affect the posters. I will look into it but can't promise when it will be done, kinda on my summer break now and been trying (and failing) to limit the amount of work i have to do.1 point

In this case ATV = Android TV1 point

If that's how you (and others) are using collections, then perhaps we need to consider reinventing them to be more like playlists where they are personal to each user.1 point
-
There is nothing to configure. If one track is required to avoid transcoding, then that is the one that will usually get picked. If neither track can direct play, or they both can, then that's when secondary criteria gets looked at.1 point

The next release will include the ability to shuffle and loop at the same time.1 point

Every time I see an update and go to the forum to check if there are any problems, I lose the desire to update. I'll keep my version 4.9.1.90, even though it doesn't scan all the films and TV series I have on my 50TB NAS.0 points

The standard Android app is vastly superior to the Android for TV app. Your stuttering problem is, most probably, not really related to the app but rather to something in your setup, There are plople here who can really help with that but they need much much more info like details of your setup and which devices are being used and which devices are connected wirelessly or wired and logs. If you report that and include examples then there is at least a good chance that your problem can be diagnosed.0 points
