I see the issue as it is a TVDB issue with bad data. The Zimmerman List with All Creatures Great and Small providerid.

I don't follow but adding id to naming scheme resolves all misidentification. Movie Naming | Emby Documentation As what you are describing sounds like provider miss-matching but need complete info for example/library provider order/naming scheme/logs. May need the nfo file also as I have never seen a single digit resolve incorrectly as you just described 7406 vs 74067. NFO for your example from TMDB

In the newest firmware for the Remote 3 this is now working as expected.

Since we can now detect end credits, or manually add them in other cases, it would be nice to see this, rather than an automatic percentage/time remaining, trigger the "next episode" popup and decide whether an episode is resumable or not. Even better if it could expand to movies for the latter point.

Hi Team, When I am downloading something to my iPad from Emby to try and local download it, for flights and stuff, I can’t see a status or a download percentage just ‘transferring’ in the dashboard. Is there a way to add an ETA / Speed / Download progression? That would be really helpful.

So, I'm late to the WMC UI party! Didn't realize it was available for Android until your comment on another thread yesterday. I installed it on a Shield, and my husband LOVES it!!! WMC/MB/EMBY was HIS "baby" for many, many years so this is a pleasant throwback for us. Great job! @softworkzIt's definitely focused on the 10-foot experience. Ours is probably a little more than 10-feet, and I can still read text clearly from across the room. Awesome!!! Will be following and looking forward to the new WMC UI Android App. Thank you!!!

Exact same issue at my server. Only on google tv with new android app. Newest version of Emby server.

FYI updated TVDB with correct linked providerids.

But Emby is not designed that way as there is only one image for all users ie a image in /metadata/genres/each genre. So a Feature Request at best. As I can't see it ever being a per user image system.

I would not say it is a bug as there is only one image for Genres/Libraries/Collections and other areas so when you restrict users it does not just create a new image as the image applies to all. The only way I can ever see this working is Emby creates images for the most restricted user. So is spoils it for everyone, as I would not expect different images per user. Personally I just use static images instead of server dynamic images.

At least on my test system it looks like it fails due to lack of Vulkan support. If you could pass through a dedicated GPU to Hyper-V you could probably get it working.

I'm guessing that was the reason it was done with X11 instead of wayland then as well, because of the lack of persistent window positions on wayland (which drives me mental lol)? You nail it! In fact, the app has been ready for months. About 90% of the testing we've done in the private beta group has been about windowing behavior on the various desktop environments, because even with X11, this is quite challenging...

Seeing this occur as well. Multiple issues with the latest versions of both apps on Google/Android TV. Turned off trailers as they were locking up playback. Now seeing issues with TV shows playing in succession as mentioned here, as well as some movie playback. Had 0 issues before most recent updates. Will try to get logs

Yes just clicking save and it is expected that the fts_search9 field would get updated for that item

I know we have mentioned this in other topics since TMDB has language backdrop as there were removed from being a backdrop option. It would be nice to map the language backdrops to Thumb/Landscape image.

Emby is really falling behind. Emby can’t even tune channels fast the chances of seeing this feature is likely 0.

I built an ffmpeg binary with video toolbox hwaccel and installed it over Emby's default ffmpeg. It still refuses to allow me to use it, because the detection process is closed-source. This is really pushing me towards an open source media solution.

+1 - there's a bunch of media I have with embedded PGSSUB files that basically completely break my server. The requests to parse PGSSUB and ASS take forever, so users just click play multiple times which in turn causes there to be a bunch of ffpmeg's running causing the server to have a meltdown until all requests are processed. The best "fix" for me would be to be able to disable the selection of internal subs or even better just only allow srt's and such. Also: some movies have WAY too many subs causing UI issues as previously mentioned. Either an "force external subtitles" or a "allow these subs: (multiselect)" would be fine.

Hey, so I have an Apple TV and I share it with my family. We like to separate our watch progress into different user accounts in my household. It's a bit tricky, because the only way to do this right now is for everyone to have a different Apple account. You can switch apple accounts, and Emby will have a different setup. This is problematic because my kids aren't old enough to have Apple accounts and we don't want them to interfere with everyone else's watch history. Our solution is to create an Apple account for them that exists solely for this purpose, but it's annoying. To be honest, I would like something like the iOS app has, where you can add multiple users to the app and switch between them. This way, we don't need 5 different Apple accounts on 1 Apple TV, and it would be a lot easier to share the TV! Thanks!

@all I had reported problems under Windows: The settings menu there had completely disappeared. I have made quite a bit of progress. With help and a lot of reading, I found the culprit. In the Windows folder addons\skin.embuary-matrix\fonts contains the file materialdesignicons-webfont.ttf which obviously no longer draws the old icons, but only hieroglyphs. Then at some point I ended up with version: v2.8.94 from 2018: https://github.com/Templarian/MaterialDesign-Webfont/commits/master?after=57b567a448bd579892174cd47c47f9e187ea56c6+34&branch=master&path[]=fonts&qualified_name=refs%2Fheads%2Fmaster#:~:text=Sep 21%2C 2018-,v2.8.94,-Templarian If you now replace this file with the existing one, you will get almost all the icons back: So for all Windows users: simply copy the file in the attachment into the folder mentioned above. Sollte noch jemand eine Idee haben wie ich die anderen Symbole wieder herstellen kann, gern her damit. Since all Android/Libre users have reported that their icons still work, I would of course be pleased if you could perhaps provide me with the file, maybe your file is a different one. Just wanted to let you know, I just ran into this issue, not sure if it's this update related or not.. search box was not working, movie trailer is not working. Directed the person to download the new emby app from the Play store on their Nvidia box.. When the search comes up at the Play store it's still standing the person to the old app. In order to get the new app they had to scroll all the way down to related results at the very bottom of the screen... After installing the new app everything started working. Maybe it's almost time to remove the old app from the play store? So the new one shows up? If somebody needs the older app they can side load it. Example I do have an older Android box at work and it does use the older app and the new one is not compatible stuck on an old Android version.
