  1. Hi, As of today, yesterday it was fine, the TV guide for these three channels (the relevant lines below extracted from embyserver.txt). I don't use all TV channels so I don't know if any more are affected. All the others I use are fine, including all the BBC HD channels. 2025-06-07 08:34:03.570 Info LiveTV: Found epg channel in Emby Guide Data GBR-1000014-DEFAULT BBC4HD 83282 2025-06-07 08:34:03.570 Info LiveTV: Found epg channel in Emby Guide Data GBR-1000014-DEFAULT BBC3H 122089 2025-06-07 08:34:03.570 Info LiveTV: Found epg channel in Emby Guide Data GBR-1000014-DEFAULT BBCRDB1 81004 Regards, Phil embyserver.txt

  2. Bumping this thread again. I really only have a handful of multi-disc albums, but I've spent the better part of a day manually editing tags and separating things into disc folders, only for Emby to still treat each disc as one whole compilation. I would really like to see some feature that lets me split this compilation into individual listings, or at least a workaround...

  5. That is completely up to your preference, hence there's several of them (personally, I don't think limiting yourself to a single provider is good idea, but YMMV); what is more important is your preferred providers order, as most of the metadata will come from primary provider (typically TMDB for movies and TVDB for TV Shows, but again, it's up to user preference, some users prefer TMDB for both, others prefer some other combo/order), with missing/additional data coming from other providers in the order of priority. Again, it is all up to one's own preferences.

  6. It would be great if Emby had a similar plug to Sonic Sage in Plexamp that allowed AI to build playlists of your music with simple prompts: Sonic Sage

  7. My bad actually, something we native English speakers take for granted

  8. Sorry, it wasn't said with any bad intention, English is not my native language, in my head it sounds differently.

  9. Ouch..not really worth doing that on a show I'm going to watch once and delete. Even if it's on all episodes. All good, thanks for getting to the bottom of it. For clarity, the smart setting should pick English subtitles for anything I'm watching in a foreign language and for stuff in English should show properly configured forced English subs?

  10. That's what I was suspecting, that "forced" flag is not enabled on those subs, but that it's just embedded title. It comes from metadata. Correct. Nope, "forced" flag needs to be enabled. Any tool of your preference (like MKVToolNix) should make short work of it.

  15. I prefer to have the stable releases end in a 0 but I wouldn't necessarily promise that.

  16. Ive been using/paying for emby for years but recently it seems like its just accumulating lots of problems. I wanted to switch from 2000w server pc's to a new mac mini m4 because the power savings are incredible and the apple silicon is pretty efficient at transcoding. recently i have nothing but complaints from people telling me how bad their experience has been on emby. I do realize that im paying month subscriptions for emby premier but the single only feature i even care about what most people care about is the hardware transcoding.. . Ive asked and emailed and so have many other people who are probably paying you monthly subscriptions for a major addition of a program that is broken is unfortunate. i mean if 3/4 of the premier subscription is broken should we get a discount or something. it wouldn't be as aggravating if your paying testers/customers could at least have updates about the features we pay for that we do not get.

  17. This has been 'worked on' for a very long time...as such, I have cancelled my Emby Premiere subscription until full hardware accelerated transcoding is supported on the M3/M4 Apple Silicon as I currently do not see any benefit from it.

  18. Is there Voice Control support on any Samsung TVs such as searching for movies or tv shows etc.. i have several Samsungs of various ages and although a couple of them have Bixby voice control, they dont seem to extend to Emby at all. I think i read somewhere that natively they only support Netflix and Amazon Prime. Just curious.

  19. Hi, yes it's on our list for review. We're not sure yet if it's something that's available to all third party apps or not.
