There is an important update. MDBList updated the API so that when you get items it limits it to 1000 items per request vs unlimited before. If your MDBLists are over 1000 items only the first 1000 items will be checked unless you update. Plug : if you want to get out of manually managing the script and support further dev, try my plugin

Thanks for the advice. I adjusted the cache size to an obsurb 4GB (why not), and turned on 'keep cached copy'...then ran metadata update on the library's. Took a while but problem solved!

OK not sure how I missed running it as root. Rolled back to where the beta works. Think later I just want to try to figure out why the TV app isn't behaving with the beta, but will with the release version in Garuda. Might just be easier to sort the TV app.

Good suggestion, but I'd like to keep using renovate without having to resort to custom logic I'd have to integrate / maintain. If Emby was following proper semver conventions and / or clearly marking beta releases on all their release channels, it would help more people too I think. I might have to switch to linuxserver images, even though I prefer to use images from the original maintainers. On a sidenote, I would really support this request, which could publish image-tags as is without any changes to the current CI / CD pipeline for deploying images to docker hub (excluding the work of crafting an entirely new workflow to publish images to ghcr.io of course :P)

I just saw an update to EMBY in TrueNas Community Edition 25.04, and after the update i see EMBY is at 4.9.1.0 Beta Do beta updates get pushed now instead of Stable ones on TrueNas? I was on stable 4.8.11.0 before this..

The default sort order is set to 'Folders'. I would prefer to have all libraries I select to default to release date. I know I can manually set it, but I have to do that for every folder in the library. I would like to see the ability to have it automatically set the default sort order for all new folders I create.

This request is 5 years in the past. I would like to see at least few hours of past guide data. I don't think this is an unreasonable request.

this is not a mixed type content library, it has always been a Movie type library. Should I wait for the library scan to complete before submitting the log? I've added and removed this path a few times this morning

I spoke with the server owner, who helped me debug the issue. We set the port to 443 instead of leaving it empty, which fixed the issue. Not sure how it was working before this, though!

Betas und auch die ersten Releases sind selten sauber. Bin erst von Nexus zu Omega, seit 21.0.2 raus ist. Was funktioniert, muss man nicht austauschen. Ist ja nicht so, dass man einen Trabbi gegen einen Porsche eintauscht.

Local trailers do not show in Trailers tab. Does your user have Trailers (or all channels) access permission (edit user>Access tab>scroll all the way to the bottom) enabled?

Ill add my two bits. I would like it while playing being able to select the audio device for output. If there is a setting "per library" or "media type", one option should be "system default audio" and it should play through the system default settings. However, while playing, you should be able to select a different speaker set for this one and only playback, without having any effect on any defaults.

My sweet goodness. That allowed searches to work again, I assume automatic subtitle downloading will also work with OpenSubtitles. I'm less concerned about Addic7ed but wouldn't mind some clarification if possible. Otherwise I can mark your reply as a solution once we ferret that last piece out, but it's not make-or-break for me

I believe so, although that doesn't mean there won't be a problem device or two that needs some special consideration. We have many users here running the combination of ADM 5.0 and Emby Server 4.9, and it made it through Asustor's testing process.

Similar to how when I click on a director or actor and see what other movies/episodes in my library they are in, it would be cool to do the same with writers, producers, composers, cinematographer, etc.

I don't understand this reply. I was simply making a feature suggestion to bring Emby on par with high-end audio, bringing it closer to a full-fledged media solution as opposed to one primarily focussed on video. This is a somewhat nice request and not one I expected the developers to prioritise. I was not posting a problem and was not looking for solutions or troubleshooting, or incorrect info.
