I'm a plex life time member, but I have been using Emby for over six years continuously, but there is a feature which I have always thought is missing in Emby which I would like and encourage the developer to consider including especially in this dispensation where families can social or commingle due to COVID 19. Today, I received a notification from Plex about it new feature titled Watch together you can read about it here https://support.plex.tv/articles/watch-together/ The feature allows friends and families at distance to watch same movies together instantly, you simply invite all your buddy, once they signed to the system which can be seeing in the server then play and pause as needed, this I think is cool feature should be added to emby. Would it be possible to one day have the option to separate films and series by streaming as well as prime video? My series and films would be more organized separating by streaming

Yes - put it in its own folder with the movie name and date. In a movie folder you can often get away with bending the rules - but in a mixed folder you are much less likely to, because the folder structure is a main part of how the server decides between movies and series in the first place. Paul

Yep, a fair point - this is why I used the term 'almost' .. For full clarity - the original list had 96 requests vs AndroidTV (thread link below) - with 14 remaining as of today, which i have listed below. SFN hotkey to enable/disable (long-press center button) Option to disable passthrough of DTS, DTS-HD, and TrueHD. It doesn't remux audio for devices where the audio is not supported, like the ATV app does. Shield will convert to PCM 2.0 if allowed to passthrough (CBers) Ability to disable direct play for all ts files (MBSki) (3.2.80) Improve the keyboard layout for searches. The one in ATV requires less clicking/navigation (Spaceboy) Add option to either log on as last user, a specific User, or always ask for user like ATV (CBers) Add the additional information from ATV SFN. Includes media info, HDR formats supported by device, etc (rbjtech) Option to hide PIN when logging on like ATV (roaku) Allow seeking in live TV (CharlieMurphy, MBSki) Ability to cancel autoplay of next episode and still continue playing the current episode to the end (K1ng_Lear) Add method to quickly jump to specific channel. If you already use the above tools, then it should be a simple matter to just add the TVDB & TMDB IDs to the folder names, so Emby can just use that for an exact match rather than trying to guess it. https://emby.media/support/articles/Movie-Naming.html#id-tags-in-folder--file-names

earlier there were a setting like this (do not ask for a password on a local network or something like that) or a settings in Apple TV app which can store the password but not automatically logging in on app start (like Netflix, disney+ plex and so on)

More people who don't seem to understand how things work, and then questioning the devs when they are told they are wrong. I wonder how much longer it will be before Luke and the team start refusing to answer queeries from users as they get more and more ignorant in their demands for things they just don't want to understand.

@lukeoslavia The main Emby dev's as well many of our members explain to you in clear matter about your concerned. But you kept voices your wrong thought in all your posts here. This is Emby community support forum, if you want simply to advertise other media software, do it at other places. Thanks.
