Hey Everyone, so I am back and able to focus on this for a bit. I have just created a small new release to get back into the "swing" of things. Seems I've missed a bit. Going forward could I ask that you log any issues/feature requests on the Github Repo, as this is easier for me to track what needs to be done, and I can get going.... Version 2.4.0.2 Feature Added Resolution Height Criteria Added Resolution Width Criteria Added Favorite (Tree Crawl) Criteria Allow sorting on Limited items for Shuffle playlist. (Shuffle will destroy and create new playlist, where as normal will just append/remove items that mismatch in filter rules.) SmartPlaylist-2.4.0.2.zip4 points

I would like to thank Spaceboy and Billoatman for encouraging me to stick with IPTVBOSS! I can't say it was easy, but i put the time into it and got it working and I am very happy with the results! I'm getting a little too old for trying new tricks and I was very intimidated by the program but worked through and I appreciate that you took the time to respond to my issue. Thank You so much!3 points

I spent lots of time looking for a script that would migrate user watched history from plex to emby without luck so I decided to just write one myself. This project contains a few python scripts that will help you migrate some of the data from your plex server to you emby server. The scripts match using IMDB, TVDB , and TMDB. Right now there are two main scripts. The first one is named metadata-migration.py . It will migrate the following data: Posters Title Original Title Sort Title Parental Rating Labels/Tags The second one is named watched-history-migration.py . This script can migrate watched history for any user but there is a caveat. You have to be able to get that user's plex token. Checkout the readme in the project repository for more details. It will migrate the following data: Watched History https://gitlab.com/CloudWing93/plex-to-emby-migration1 point

Can we get the option to filter content within Live TV / Programs using such apps as the Emby Android TV app. Either a filter option, or two new categories. "New Shows This Week", "New Seasons This Week". Otherwise, a filter option to select "New", and sort by "Community/Critic Rating".1 point

Hey there guys, +1 for this and awesome that there has been a lot of progress. However, are there any plans to implement some lyrics database for people who do not have embedded lyrics in their songs? Something like musixmatch or similar? This would be huge!1 point

Will do. Currently looking - need to find the right manufacturer and compatible firmware. I'll keep you posted. I also want to get it working seamlessly.1 point

Hey Luke, So to test I did bypass HAProxy and was successful. I decided this might be the way I need to go and started configuring HTTPS on the Emby container side. While I was waiting for a cert to be issued, I retried going through there SSL/HAProxy route and then it worked! AFAIK the only things I changed were: Container exposure/forwarding of SSL port Changed “secure connection mode” from disabled to preferred but not required Never actually uploaded SSL cert to Emby Im going to stick with the HAProxy since it is my standard means. Thanks for the help.1 point

thank you. I had the playback set to Auto. Changed it to 1080p and that worked.1 point

Nevermind. I found out that clicking "Refresh Metadata" with "replace images" unchecked, does not touch any image data or preview thumbnails. All cast members are not showing.1 point

Yes but i dont have to reinstall the previous version just to show you, do I? It was small like the desktop screenshot on your Android version 3.3.31, on shield and samsung s21. Version 3.3.32 made it big in width like first screenshot. No big deal, im sure you fix it later1 point

It does both - aired but missing episodes (marked as 'Missing') and where the Providers have listed them, unaired episodes also (marked as 'Unaired').1 point

@rbjtechwas on it for sure and he absolutely posted the info perfectly. General speaking (not specific to this thread) for remote access issues/problems we should ask for a couple additional items up front that provide additional information we often have to ask for as part of diagnosing the issue. Having a screen copy of the router's port forwarding configuration and screen shot of the test results from canyouseeme.org. is one key pieces of information needed as well as a trace route to some public IP which shows all hops on the local LAN as well as the ISP's LAN. This helps identify different types of NAT (network address translation) issues be CGNAT (carrier grade network address translation) to having multiple routers inline in the home network. The third piece of information we should try to gather early on is if a VPN is being used which flat-out changes the network, often time in unexpected ways. It might be a bit more work up front reporting this information, but would likely save the first 2 to 3 rounds of question/answer posts but should ultimately help to solve the issue quicker! It also helps to avoid the situation of working on bad information where a person thinks their settings are correct but are not which can take a few more rounds of posts to circle back to checking! You have taught me something. While the AppleTV supports FLAC and Apple Lossless (music formats), it does not support any of the lossless surround formats. Some research indicates that InFuse can decode DTS-HD correctly on the ATV. Apparently it's not a hardware thing, it's a software thing. Apparently Apple does not think it is necessary (lossless surround support) so their API does not support it. But you can write your own software that does (like InFuse has done). This seals the deal for me: ATV isn't really a player in the "playing back your own collection of high resolution surround movies" arena. My Shield seems to do that pretty well. Thanks for educating me. I look forward to eventually purchasing a streaming box that's better than the Shield. For now I'm relatively satisfied with it. Brian.1 point

I was more frustrated then I was submitting a formal issue. Turns out Emby could not see the media folders. Once I set the libraries up again everything came back ok. A short while later the problem cropped up again (no compatible streams). Setting the libraries up again, again solved the problem (for now). thanks, Bj1 point

Tambien asegúrate de tener instalada la version de 64 bits de .net, ya que puedes tener instaladas ambas versiones independientemente y necesitas en especifico la de 64 bits (x64)1 point

I agree as I have been moving away from Samsung for quite a while now with my devices (not gonna replace them while they still work though, but some of my devices have indeed been replaced by now). But I doubt they really care for the few consumers they lose, compared to how much they cut on costs with this. And I also doubt everyone suddenly stops buying their stuff just because of "minor" things like this. Neither do I though, because since I switched some of my devices I notice they are a lot better than Samsung devices in many ways.1 point

Hi, two more shades of great have been added to the options list for the next release. Separate hdr options are always a possibility. Thanks.1 point

@LukeHow about supporting import/exposing episode landscapes as they're already tracked as such in the db? We need that to be supported externally, i.e. Or an option to copy series thumb as episode landscape?1 point
-
I'd say an option would be pretty nice and strongly needed. I'd much prefer episode thumbs instead of the generic series thumb.1 point
-
And how about support for episode landscapes, as discussed on the other thread, pretty please?1 point

Hey @Luke any updates on this my friend. mainly for the ep thumb pics1 point
