THANK YOU QDROID Truecharts app only had mapping to the http port This lead me to the answer Edit app config (in container setup) add additional port mapping to target port 8920 This was done by 1. Add Manual Custom Service 2. Name it, and choose LoadBalancer 3. Additional Service Port ADD 4. Name it, TCP, 8920, Then add the container port the same as you intend for emby public https2 points

Similar to this old post, I'm suggesting a tab that would be titled Watchlist and could be placed in between Suggestions and Favorites. The functionality would pretty much be a copy of Favorites, just with a + symbol added next to the heart and other symbols that let you favorite a movie etc. The previous post had mentioned extra functionality such as automatically removing a movie from Watchlist after it has been watched. This would be nice, but is unnecessary because after watching a movie you can simply click the + symbol a second time to remove it from Watchlist. I would imagine this would be very easy to implement as a rebranded copy of Favorites. Adding other features could come later. Edit: added link to old post1 point

Based on the following guide, it says to verify the certificate via TXT. https://emby.media/support/articles/Secure-Your-Server.html SSL For Free does not allow me to do that anymore, and my verification options are Email, CNAME or HTTP File Upload. I've given the CNAME option a go, but with no success whatsoever. Based on the fact I'm using Dynu, Email & HTTP File Uploads are not possible. Could the guide be updated to be compatible with the latest options from SSL for Free? or is Emby only compatible with TXT and I need to do another method? Many Thanks1 point

For now I'm just going to leave it at restarting my server every morning before I wake up, it's working fine that way, and I have no problems accessing it. Which reminds me I need to look at config on my PCIe 2,5GbE card on it's wake up, I remember it had a choice of a 10 or100 wake up signal, or maybe it was Emby, I have to look when I'm not so worn out. Seems like one of them defaulted to 10Mbps on the WOL, but I think my NIC card doesn't do 10Mbps, only 100 -2500.1 point

Another problem is that this method cannot work as implemented (see above post)... Paul1 point

@LukeI have verified that this change in the verification procedure has been made - this image shows the DNS verification process as of today (but this cannot work - see note below): This change must be very recent indeed, as all their example videos still show the TXT method in use! The OP reported that they failed with this CNAME method. Actually, I can see the reason immediately - FreeSSL's test CNAME starts with an underscore, which is not a valid character in a domain name! So this method will not work with any registrar which does a proper check on the names, and many DNS forwarders may also block it from working. Well done FreeSSL - you messed up royally! Paul1 point

I just wish the Android TV app was a little bit more modern looking like the regular Android app. It's very very old and outdated looking compared to Plex and Jellyfin. Looks old, layout looks old just outdated. I like the features it has and is still my favorite but it's just the interface is very early app looking. Any plans to make it more modern or customizable?1 point

The Emby server appears to be okay with the pfx file. Are your port mappings correct for the HTTPS port in the container setup? The server is listening on 8920 as expected so it was able to open and use the certificate. The port you defined and mapped to 8920 should also be working or at least responding.1 point

Ok, thanks, I'll continue while you're putting dark backgrounds.1 point

I've been out of town for two weeks but the few times I've tried since I've gotten home everything seems to be working fine now. If anything changes I'll let you know. Thanks.1 point

This is resolved. It was a corrupt container. I removed the container and the image. Did a purge on both, then did a docker pull on embyserver:latest. Everything is now working. Cheers! =C=1 point

By any chance, did you watch the movie or tv show that disappeared? There is a feature that can be turned on or off that will remove watched content from the new sections on the homepage.1 point

Yes I was just about to come back and report on that. So after a little more testing, I limited this test user to a smaller portion of that same library, which gives roughly half the amount of items in the total view ~2500 items Magically the issue disappears. So as @ebrsuspected previously, it does have something to do with larger lists.1 point

Thanks. Well I'm the opposite of you, I've never experienced the 'jumps to Z issue' only the other one1 point

I've tested both issues but to be fair, I never had the 'forced to stay in the letter chosen' issue to start with, only the jump to Z issue.1 point

Just to correct you here - any OLED model before the C9 worked fine with DTS/DTS-HD. Glad to see LG have finally seen the light and put in support for DTS/DTS-HD-MA and DTS:X Lets hope other manufacturers start to follow ..1 point

There is currently no option to do this but this question has come up before and it's something we'll be adding in future updates. Thanks.1 point

So keeping things very simple to start with - I've just used the Channel Plugin framework from @chefto build a very simple Movie Plugin where Genre = Family. I've been meaning to do this for a while, so I can just give my young viewers access to a 'Channel' - rather than mess about with Tagging. So you get a dedicated Channel - it re-creates itself every time you run the 'Internet Channels' task. (it's on a schedule) and of course being a channel, as opposed to a 'playlist' - you have full control over it - and can add user permissions etc. I can sort it by date as well - so all the newest stuff is at the start. Obviously very limited at the moment - but no reason why this should not include TV Series as well (seperate Channel) - and any other 'filter' that you want applied before creating the channel. Note - Being a channel - there are no duplicates shown in the main Movies library .. () I'll build on it to see how it goes - maybe take the output from the Smart Playlists - and call it Smart Channels ... Once I've tidied it up and added TV series/shows - I'll share the DLL .. Any thoughts welcome ..1 point

@miraclesukiThanks for pointing out "Special Episode Info" to me. Special Episode Emby objects include these two fields: Airs during season == SortParentIndexNumber Airs before episode == SortIndexNumber Regular Episode Emby objects include these two fields: Season Number == ParentIndexNumber Episode == IndexNumber I will add "Special Episode" metadata to the Bulky Editor. Give me a week to get it done. I may be able to do it faster, but I don't know yet. Vic1 point

hello @miraclesukiits nice to hear from you. Yes I will look into your request. I didn't know that Special Episode Info even existed. I will have to do some research here. Vic1 point

hello, I'm having the same issue with my tv guide, most of channels only diplay the information for the programs that start the current day (before 0:00). I have check the guide and 7 days is included on it. Aditional info, some channels like MTV show 7 days... I have checked the xml file and it is similar in both channels. Attached is the xml and a photo of the error. Any ideas how to fix it? XML: http://iptv-epg.com/2c78-mntnav.xml1 point
