Appears to be working a treat DLL version is 1.0.1.25 Please take a copy of your old DLL before replacing with the attached - and clear your browser cache to re-load it. Toggle on/off the Audio bitrate I don;t use the Sample/Bit depth myself - so feedback on formatting welcome - it's probably a bit much if you ticked them all .. Enjoy.. .. and @Cheesegeezer.. Possibly .. just having a dabble myself to add this - the good news is because @Cheesegeezerwrote such an awsome structured Plugin to begin with - adding ANYTHING from the mediainfo JSON output can easily be added (it gets all the fields, not just those displayed in the Emby config) .. I've got the Audio Bitrate value showing in the debug log and added the GUI (below), now just need to append the value if the checkbox is true.. brb .. edit .. ok - so got there in the end - JavaScript is not nice ... Just need to do a little bit more testing - but there is now an option to add Audio Bitrate - I'll post the DLL shortly ...

Emby got removed from the app store for months a while back because someone was caught using it to illegally distribute content. So you're engaging in exactly the sort of illegal distribution the limit is designed to prevent, and you're complaining that the limit is preventing you from continuing?

And while its not as popular as Android Auto yet, its pretty impressive. Its gaining more traction too. I hear GMC, Cadillac and many others are using it now too. Emby, please add a compatible app for Android Automotive in the google play store. Are there any plans for this?

Hello it would be nice to have a Manual Subtitle Offset. So that I can tap the Offset time at myself. Right now, in the Android App I only can press -50ms or +50ms. If I want key in - 2 Minutes, its long way to do it. It would be easier if i can type - 2 Minutes and all is done and not press -50ms till i have reach it. Regards Firefox

When transcoding using HW acceleration, picture freezes every ~15 seconds, sometime it freezes and never recovers. If I turn off HW acceleration, it get better, but still freezes less often. It doesn't get any info from IMDB that I know of, though it does check the IMDB and TMDB id numbers match the show name you put in (if you put them in). The art thing's odd - I was adding some just a few days ago. Perhaps there's a delay on new accounts or something. Paul

A few years late, but I ran into this (still an issue with the official image not containing the tzselect package); There is a nice workaround (if you want the container to maintain the same TZ as the host, anyway) by adding these volume mappings: - /etc/timezone:/etc/timezone:ro - /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro

Have to say, this hasnt been my experience either -- which is how this thread originally started. The logs show ffmpeg throwing error "Seek to start failed" and "operation not permitted. There is no restart of the recording. Here's are example logs. Yea as you've gathered this is to avoid removing tags that the Plugin did not originally populate. Let me give this some thought as I'm on the same journey actually, converting DV7 to DV8 .. ok - that could be something to add - if it's in the JSON output, then even better.

Alternatively, you can enter the same information into TVDB, and then it'll be there for you (when you rescan) and anyone else! It's actually quite easy. Paul

For the one TV series I have that is in IMDB with minimal info and not in TVDB or TMDB, I had to manually enter the metadata in Emby and then lock the series info You can enter the IMDB info in the Emby metadata when manually editing Hope that helps you get your unlisted series to show correctly in Emby

Strange! I can reproduce this. There has been a recent change to dynamically set the tabs based on the server, but I'm sure this was working after that change. I'll have to take a look tomorrow to see what's going on. Thanks

Hi @all I reinstalled the EmbyServer docker on Unraid. First I got the same issue again, Series were updating perfectly and Movies not. After reading this comment: I did some tests and this was the solution! My library paths in Emby before were: /mnt/user/data/Series /mnt/user/data/Movies Result: Series were found, Movies not Now changed to: /mnt/user/data/Series /mnt/user/Movies Result: Movies now are working as well! So Emby library for Movies is not working with paths that have more than 2 subfolders like the user guluppi mentioned. Issue finally solved for me :).

I don't think so, at least with the standard catalog version. It will usually strip that info and rename it how you have it already. I'm not sure what "Original File Name %fn" does I've never tested it... None of the infected files will be deleted, those were stored by the attacker where they will persist. You need to remove the files manually. I don't use synology so I can't really help with that, but there is a synology specific subforum here you can try. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/forum/153-synology/

Speaking to docker generally and not Synology's implementation, "No". Docker containers are designed to be frequently discarded and entirely replaced. This happens every time you update the container. But your configs, databases, metadata, etc are stored on the host device filesystem and will persist through that process.

I signed onto the dev portal and added the bulky plugin. So far, it has not shown up in the Emby library. I hope I didn't make a mistake. This is new territory for me. Anybody have any bugs that need fixing? Vic

That's not the first time I've heard it should be split into two libraries (tv/movies). Inorder to split it up, I'll have to look at the code again. It's not impossible to do, I was kind of procrastinating the work. It would have to be an option to split the library up. When enabled, Top picks would create two libraries in the system, for each type. That's easy enough. The hard part is toggling it back off. That would involve removing libraries in the code . I think that was the part I wasn't sure if I should write or not. Also wasn't sure if it was possible to remove a library in the ILibraryManager object. I'll take a look, and see what is possible

Sorry if i'm being a little rude but i don't get this tantrums that comes from time to time, always threaten to switch platform if emby don't adjust to your peculiar and very specific needs. But of course always saying "There are hundreds that need what i need" is like calling my ISP and telling them to lower the price because other ISP is cheaper. If the other ISP is cheaper then switch and is all done. Over the years i have switched ISP like 6 times and mobile phone provider like 4 times acording to what is a better deal for me at the time. I have even considered switching from emby some times, but at this moment for my use case emby is enough. And be sure that if at some point emby features don't convice me i'll switch.

Hi. There is no limit on users only devices but 50 users on your server is a bit out of the scope of our design as a personal media server for just your immediate family and close friends. If you are distributing content to that many users it is almost certain that you are violating the terms of distribution of the content and that is the situation we are trying to avoid with the device limits. We could charge money for higher limits but this will open our software up to much easier use as an illegal streaming platform. Such use only ends up hurting us because, eventually, one of those is discovered by content owners and then our name is associated with it and we get accused of running illegal pirating sites. The net result would eventually be that we would be put out of business and no one would have Emby. So, we choose to remain designed as a personal media server. You could convince one or two of these friends of yours to install their own server to serve their families and then this would alleviate the number of users and devices you are directly supporting. Device limit has been there for a long time, nothing new there, let alone in the last few weeks. Standard Premiere license carries a 25 devices limit, which covers vast majority of usage-cases. If that ain't sufficient, there are Extended Premiere options with 45 and 75 devices limit. https://emby.media/premiere-ext.html

They stole nothing - its part of the license emby was distributed under at the time allowed anybody to fork it and use it you need to educate yourself and stop pushing rubbish
