Having started using LiveTv recordings - one thing i cant find and i think is missing is a notification that x recording failed because of y reason As i only have one dual tuner (at the moment) its quite easy to have more than two recordings of more than one series scheduled to happen in the same time period. Other than i assume something in the logs to note this - there appears to be nothing in Emby to show what and why a recording is missing. Also as the schedule updates as time passes the "historic" conflict is lost - so its not immediately obvious that a recording failed. So could we have a notification in say the dashboard/notifications page or similar? Also a conflict notification before the recordings would be good as well I did a quick search and did not find a similar request - although there might be

Turriff Show.. its a very prestigious show for equine and livestock here in the north of Scotland. Queen was has a few years back! But its one of the shows the royals love!

Similar to another thread here regarding a notification when a show is upcoming to be recorded, I would like to have some type of notification or indicator showing that a show is currently recording/completed. Perhaps using the current notification system but also something in the taskbar notification area would be cool too. NextPVR currently has an icon that turns red when a show is recording. Other ideas would be cool too. I am just sort of thinking out loud as to my idea.

Until you guys have a working poc i would suggest using the dev forum otherwise you are going to get a lot of genral random "make the button green" sort of chatter and side track discussion before you know it.

when i have previously had failed recordings i have got the same episode from other sources, added it to the recordings library so the OH has consistency and experienced no issues

Like mentioned already, because your server users are not yours. All users belong to "them". Then users decide how they proceed through "them" and if you are even allowed to cater to to those users. Users choose to attach to your server through "them". There is a central agency tracking you. Whereas on Emby all users must be created on a server. There is no central location tracking everyone coming and going through your server. Your Emby server users are catered to by you and no one else. There is no central agency tracking you. Also, Roku made it clear that there was to be no intercepts used except their ECP mechanism and it seems they have gone around that. "They" aren't following rules and eventually that will cost "them". They also might be allowed to break the rules because they just get to. Who knows. It is a world of you rub my back and I rub yours a bit. Share the data they get from tracking users on Rokus with Roku possibly. Well not possibly.. haw. That is what "they" do. That might be how they get around certain rules. I am just conjecture. Speculation. But the reality is there are forces at play which allow certain freedoms to exist only for certain programs, people, and geographic locations. We must find a happy place and learn to deal with it depending on the program, person, or geographic location. Find your happy place.

Hi When play a movie trailer directly on the movie detail page or if the cinema mode is active the display name is the file name of the trailer. I guess it would be better if the movie name is taken something like: Trailer: Gladiator Trailer: Cars As I have other tools downloading the trailers for me sometimes the namss are not really nice. Its just a proposal.

Been doing some tests with Notifiarr Dev for Emby integration, which has just gone live in early stage as of last night. With the obvious lack of " New content added" webhook, here's few of the observations: 1. While Playback events do work, per se: Triple webhook (Pause/Stop/Scrobble) is sent upon Playback finished: Could you adjust above so that only scrobble is sent upon finish? 2. System events also function but are fairly limited in info provided: Could you append same with some additional data? 3. Same goes for User events, which also do get through: However, same webhook is sent upon "Mark favorite" and "Unmark favorite", so there's no way to distinguish which event actually occurred. Sidenote: Had a good laugh on some of the notification descriptions when I saw them for the first time, Dev's got some spirit there.

Can we have an option to flatten series if there are XX episodes or less. Just provides the ability to eliminate one frustrating click. I wouldn't want it on my 1,000+ episode Looney Tunes series. However, when you only have one or two seasons in a series, it helps drill down easier.

OK, as it turns out, stripping EXIF data is part of the android Q privacy feature set. We'll have to update the app to request additional permissions when enabling camera upload.

As mentioned above only if the exact conditions exist per the option folder structure option. Other will always be /metadata/musicalbums, /metadata/musicartists Album/Track should save Album info in album folder AlbumArtist/Album/Track should save in perspective media folder assuming proper matching can be made. Note folder view will use the images that exist in media folders.

Yes, I can confirm the same with my TCL 43C725 television: I no longer need to use Button Mapper to avoid multiplication effect. I have not yet tested with my MECOOL KM6 Deluxe, which was the tougher one, since using Button Mapper did not remove the multiplication effect. I will keep you posted.

What happens when you select the round checkbox in the upper left corner? (It's a softball question). You get a bar at the top indicating 1 item selected, and then you can go and click more of the checkboxes in the upper left corner and the top bar will update to indicate how many are selected. Does that help explain multi-select?

I wasn't able to get HD audio in 4K remuxes to work long ago, but something has changed. Got my Xbox set to Uncompressed 7.1 and passthrough now and the Atmos and DTS:X lights come on my now. An improvement over what it used to be. Still not usable for me without HDR though. So, I too am looking forward to that new app being available.

All you can do is try to Refresh the content shown for one of the entries to try and get the database to merge them. But may have to remove all the items from one person entry, do a scan and readd the media and hope it add to existing entry. If you save nfo with media the written actors information could be a factor also.

Placement of multiple (wired) AP's will give you a much better chance of wireless success. imo Wifi 6 is unnecessary and will give you very little over Wifi 5. Even Wifi 4 should be able to deliver 4K streaming speeds without issues.

Hi, just configure your server machine to sleep. Some Emby apps have functions on the server selection screen that you can use to manually send Wake On Lan signals. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !

If users are like me - they are still using it rather than the Core - so I'll just post the version that I am using (with the Chapters fix). v1.0.0.3 attached (zip) - This fixes the chapters issue and correctly imports the hidden emby core 'markers' that now work with the Emby Clients to get the 'button'. Note, metadata on the previously incorrectly added items will need to be refreshed - and then re-run the chapters task in the plugin to correctly re-add them. Once the import has completed, and you are happy with the results - you can then uninstall the plugin and use the Core Introskip version instead as you wish. Full support after this point will need to come from the Core team. Thanks. IntroSkip.zip

Yes, please, but I would suggest using our Channel interface for this instead of trying to directly manipulate libraries. Channels show up just like a library.

Rich, you can post that version on here if you want, or start a thread, post it up and then lock the thread. Actually I’ll disable the detection tasks and fingerprinting so it can be used and only the core uses it to transfer. plus we have the end credits plugin working now, we just have to tweak the algorithm to nail down the 25% its not catching correctly.

What is the point of having character images? You can ever have only single image per actor, so you'd have completely unrelated character image in other movies/shows same actor is in, which is terrible solution IMHO. AFAIAC those should never be scraped and updated TVDB plugin rightly does not return them.

Will it be possible to use Collections instead of the library for that? Collections are much easier to manage.

The reason Emby wasn't downloading images is because your NFOs are locked via <lockdata>true</lockdata>. TMM recently added a setting where you can choose whether or not to write NFOs as locked. If you choose not to write them as locked and re-write all NFOs, Emby will download actor images on import. You don't even need to re-scrape the NFOs with TMDB to get the images. You can use the IMDB scraper in TMM. As long as the actor's name matches exactly, it will download the image.

Grazie per la risposta, si può ipotizzare, (è una proposta di implementazione futura), di dare la possibilità all'utente di inserire manualmente (ad ogni film) in un campo apposito, un URL così da essere indipendenti su quale trailer (ce ne sono diversi in rete) poter inserire. Una procedura simile a quella della ricerca delle copertine, dove se voglio, posso caricare io una copertina scaricata sul mio pc, solo che nel caso del trailer video, poter inserire un URL , che punti correttamente e autonomamente al trailer da me scelto, credo possa essere un'ottima implementazione. It's only the beginning. Yes you'll be able to edit the existing keyword series, and I did some homework with WMC and I like the way it shows you a preview of what programs match the criteria when you're setting it up, so I'd like to add that as well. And yes of course matching on more fields than just what is currently there.
