My users have Fire Stick, XBOX, iOS, Apple TV, Android TV, Apple TV, LG smart TV and WEB browser as devices and I personally have an apple TV and the only client that is a problem is the Apple TV. But indeed maybe other users are experiencing problems that my users did not tell me. Thank you again for your work !2 points

It's perfect I cancelled the scan on my side and deleted the database to start again on a clean basis. Simple question. Do you know if the Emby developers are going to implement a button to skip the intro? Also, if you have the time and if it is feasible, will there ever be a way to choose on which platform to display the message? For example on Apple TV the messages stops the episode playing on the beta version and on the stable version an error message appears. I removed the message but it skips the intro abruptly. Again a huge thank you for your work2 points

Maybe there could be an option to show only unwatched media in the "Because you watched..." and "Because you liked..." sections of the Suggestions Tab? Or is there already? Anyway, I'm using the web client via Firefox on a Windows 7 Ultimate machine...1 point

Hi there, In browsing my collection of movies on my Apple TV, I noticed that if movies are grouped into collections I can’t tell if I’ve watched them without diving in deeper. Would it be possible to have it display the tick in the corner if all movies in the collection are marked as watched? Cheers, Brad1 point

Right now we can only choose between 10s or Chapter. It would be nice to have something inbetween like 30s (or better let us choose how high the interval should be). I would actually like to save them on my SSD instead of next to the media, cutting the space requirements by 66% would be helpful (Chapter is a bit high...)1 point

Can we have some sort of toggle or option on the media info screen for extrenal players for the android TV app? In an ideal world I would use Emby for everything. Most of the time I do. Sometimes if a I want to use slow motion I need to use an external player. Same if the audio is out of sync. Same if the file has some sort of error. The option for external player is there in the settings but it has to be set for all or none. It ould be nice to select '...More' on the media detail screen and select 'use external player'.1 point

Some of that I am experiencing with this 1.6.0.5 (probably most >1.6 versions, but I am new to these) and I resolve it in the manner you described. But I think it's just because it is showing my more information than it used too... for a TV show where I ripped the whole season, then moved them to my organize folder, they all came up as unidentified (in orange) first, then one by one slowly processed and went into the correct folder marked "theatrical version" (green) so it seems to be working slower... but that could be it was faster when replacing series I have never had vs things I have (I have been replacing about 30% of my library that I lost last year)... But yes, on windows (which still has version 1.6.0 and earlier same behavior) I noticed over time while tweaking settings in Sonarr, I would get an MKV and an MP4 version of the same show downloaded. And even though AutoOrgainze was handling the renaming at that point (sonarr's disabled) it was copying BOTH (with the settings in AO set to move/overwrite). Anyway for the most part the newer verison seems to be doing well for me, and I will keep an eye out for any more weird behavior. Still have sometimes when the webui appears hung while processing alot of files, but then I do an F5 refresh firefox and the file it was 'hung' on as well as many beyond have correctly processed, so it may be a browser issue... -g p.s. @chef hope you are coming out the other side of this mess ok!1 point

Thank you both for your help! @chef What is the delay between file size checks? I tested this further by triggered the plugin to organize manually while I was copying a large series into the folder and it didn't seem to wait and it did indeed cut off a video or two during this process. Is it possible to configure the delay between file size checks? When it retries later, does it perform this same check again or does it go straight to moving files? My Synology NAS is using the BTRFS file system and, in using it, I think I've encountered delays in the file system's ability to report the size of a file. That is, I start a copying process, I checked the size of the file mid transfer, check again within seconds after that, and found the reported size did not change. I did a little research into this and found a whitepaper that states "Btrfs, by default, delays writes for 30 seconds to increase disk efficiency, and metadata and data are in the same delay queue." (https://www.usenix.org/system/files/conference/atc13/atc13-ren.pdf). If the time between the check and re-check of the file size is less than 30 seconds, this may explain this problem. @Luke Thanks for the suggestion adjusting the scheduled tasks. I reduced my auto organize to be hourly instead of every few...seconds(?). While I don't think this solution resolves the core problem, it will greatly reduce the probability of it happening.1 point

Quick answer - yes, they have agreed to this but we do not know when. Once Introskip is out of Beta and hopefully in the main catalogue, then we can hopefully apply a bit more pressure to get it to the top of their list. Personally, Auto Skip is working perfectly (so no need for a manual button) - but we do appreciate having the option to manually skip. Oh that's interesting - I have never tested on an AppleTV. Trust them to not be like everybody else .. Can you give us some more details on this - so Autoskip works ok, but it's the message part that is not working - is that correct ? Thanks !1 point

The loss of the stream selections during error fallback should be fixed in the current beta.1 point

Hi, given enough demand, yes more providers are possible. To be honest though, it makes the most sense to just mount them to local folders and then use folder sync. If you do it that way, then that allows any option to be supported.1 point

Hi quick update as I found the pressing any key on the keyboard once you have started playback makes the cursor disappear. Not a proper fix but a decent workaround in the meantime so thought i would share. Thanks!1 point

If this customizable and personalized playlists feature is added, then many useful and/or functional playlists such as the following can be created: "Best Foreign Films to Watch" playlist to be recognized as "Library" so it will show up as a row of titles when I enable it in "Latest media" "Holiday Season Movies" "Must Watch Again" etc Right now, it's a very frustrating and cumbersome experience navigating in Emby. For example, one has to navigate to My Media > Playlists > Select Playlist > Scroll scroll scroll > Oops Wrong Playlist > Navigate Back > Check all playlists titles again > Spend more time looking around for the correct playlist > Go in again > Scroll scroll scroll > Select Movie > Play How is this even acceptable to anyone? If these customizable playlists are listed in "Latest Media" or some kind of newly developed "Playlist Home screen" then multiple groupings (playlists) of specific movies and/or shows will be possible. Posters will be clearly listed in rows for easy identification and selection of the correct movies/show to watch or cue up. Netflix style, except it would be even better because we get to choose the name of customized playlists.1 point
