Could we please hold on to the subject of the thread and discuss audio formats elsewhere? I'm subscribing to this thread because I'm interested in the status of the Emby app but I don't have the slightest interest in like the ten latest posts in the thread...

what personal information is included in a music playlist you fool?

Similar to this old post, I'm suggesting a tab that would be titled Watchlist and could be placed in between Suggestions and Favorites. The functionality would pretty much be a copy of Favorites, just with a + symbol added next to the heart and other symbols that let you favorite a movie etc. The previous post had mentioned extra functionality such as automatically removing a movie from Watchlist after it has been watched. This would be nice, but is unnecessary because after watching a movie you can simply click the + symbol a second time to remove it from Watchlist. I would imagine this would be very easy to implement as a rebranded copy of Favorites. Adding other features could come later. Edit: added link to old post

Hi is there a possibility to get a Parental Guidance Cleaner Plugin like the Genre Cleaner Plugin ? For US People probably has no sense but for people like me in Spain we end up having Movies with: ES-APTA, ES/A, ES-G, G ES-7, ES/7, ES-7, PG Etc. Now I've more than 60 different Parental Guide Codes for just 6 options (G, PG, PG-13, NC-17, R, X) Would be very useful to have somethig similar as Genre Cleaner to consolidate all Parental Guides for movies and TV Shows, otherwise it's impossible to filter by that. Thanks, and appologies if this is not the right forum section for this request.

Hi, I hope Emby developers can find the time to integrate CinemaVision into Emby so we can use this great Cinema experience tool in emby Theater. I know Ragnarok has been excited to assist in integrating it into emby. The only reason I am still using KODI is for this add-on as it makes my cinema room like a real theater. It might not be a to hard of an integration as both emby and cinemavision were both originally build on xbmc if not mistaken. Along with the logs please provide the TV model and app version also. If I were to venture a guess vdatanet is right and you're trying to play some form of HD audio or subtitle which the TV doesn't support which then needs to be converted. This always causes playback issues with the Samsung app when streaming high bitrate material like 4K. If so, try selecting an alternate track which your TV supports before clicking play. For the best experience always select tracks which are compatible with your TV and can Direct Play first.

This is going to be so good, Can't wait until 4.6.

I'd like to give a notification or pop up on playback to notify users their Emby client is transcoding, especially if they are transcoding 4k as it cripples the server. Whenever I find issues the user is usually completely unaware they are transcoding or causing issues for others as their steam is buffered.

I do not have access to that on Apple TV 4k

oh, i also found something slightly annoying too; the 'autowatch' flag appears to be triggered by % remaining. seems perfect for 30-60min shows, but with this BTCC recording, it appears to mark it a bit too early. maybe use % but up to a maximum of, say, 4 minutes? 2 minutes would probably be plenty. Just a bit of feedback on that one

@SamES @Luke I really, sorry to reiterate. Please can you give MORE / ANOTHER explanation? I know you already commented on the issue, but it's a LONG time ago. It is shocking what is going on with the LG customer. A lot of people are paying or have paid a lot of money to have emby premiere, I think they at least deserve to know what is going on.

Do you use Trakt plugin? Maybe your brother is pushing watched status to Trakt, and you are pulling status from the same account.

Hi. You would just retrieve the item and it would have all of those properties.

This was it! The naming convention of the files was not a good choice, so I renamed the first 5 episodes in season 1, to start with and boom, those 5 are now showing correctly! Thanks for that tip! Only 146 renames to go.. ugh.. I'll make wife do it haha..

Just remuxed them from MP4 to MKV and they seem to be playing fine now :-) Thanks for all your help.

If you fear someone on your server is keeping tabs on your viewing habits why have you let them on your server? It has no bearing the privacy acts of any country since like the vampire rules "You invited them in". Once you do that you have crossed the line where that law no longer has bearing.

Even if it were, it isn't being exposed to the public or anyone outside of your own control here so, as we said, this law simply has no bearing on this issue. However, folks, please keep the discussion civil. We do not need personal insults in here. Thanks.

Hello. I have a playlist per genre and each one can have from 100 to 1000 songs in each one and for some reason, Emby doesn't seem to have code to check before or prevent adding the same track twice. I would like to request a feature to remove duplicate tracks from playlists. Thanks! J

Please can we get Auto Organize to copy external subtitle files along with video files. The easiest solution is to just copy any files that are identically named as the video files and apply the same renaming logic to them.

I believe the last model to support DTS is the C9.

The last panels to support DTS pass through were the 2016 models (sold during 2017) like OLEDB6, OLEDC6V (Last 3D model), I need to replace my panel in next 3-4 years so really hoping LG support it again too....

Yeah I've found a solution for it. Turns out if you install the kaspersky browser extension along with the kaspersky you have installed, the issue seems to go away. Another method would be to just uninstall kaspersky.

That's very strange, this issue should be ignored... Probably the file is exclusively opened by Kodi (or another plugin) so it's blocked for reading... I have to think about it. Also I'll perform a test under Windows...

This just isn't the same thing at all. "within emby" is inside your own personal system - so it is secured in that systems access. We don't have a central place where this information is stored such that it could be accessed by anyone other than the users of your own system. In that way we are completely different from something like Netflix. But, if you think your viewing habits are private on Netflix, you've got another thing coming... as that is not considered "personal" information. The bottom line is nothing like GDPR applies to this issue in any conceivable way.
