I don't have to worry about the sub part of that as I bought a lifetime sub a few months ago. I'm at a loss, everything works with sound but that one app. I'm considering making another windows profile just to test whether the issue is this profile or it is a computer issue.

My synology sometimes does this as well, try this. Go into the network settings on the NAS and turn off IPv6 on the NIC. This has fixed any internet access issues I've had.

You're going to have to provide more info about your setup. From barely one second into the startup, before server is actually done starting and for the 25 minute duration of the log your server gets HTTP requests from 14 different client IPs 3800 times. Sooo....what have you got? Could the DB locks be an indication of other emby server processes running? Do you have multiples on the same host or trying to sync/share between hosts?

I'm unable to test till I get home tomorrow, but I am able to stream remotely with no issues. All the firesticks I'm using remotely are 4k sticks though so I'm going to upgrade that at home and see it fixes it.

There are a few things that need specific setup to get either Alexa or Google Home to work with Emby for Voice control (their requirements, not ours) but we can help you with this to make your experience even better. I uninstalled the Toolkit and it removed NVIDIA and broke Emby, so I'm reinstalling NVIDIA...

I can't tell exactly why. Either there Distro-driver includes only partial CUDA components or the info display simply displays the version of CUDA that is normally bundled with the driver..

Problem solved! Mkvtoolnix on unraid did the job fairly quickly. Thank you all for your assistance on this.

I'll test again, actually the default subtitle setting is coming from guisettings.xml The default setting is only read once by Kodi/Plugin start. If you change it, you have to restart Kodi.

Support for external audio should not only be in Ember Server/App, but also be in Plug-in of Emby for Kodi I'm an Asian and I love to watch Hollywood movies but when I don't understand them most of the time, I download an audio track in my native language and play it with Hollywood and English movies simultaneously to enjoy it. I do not download dual audio movies because I find local encoders having much worse picture quality. There are many websites that provide us with audio tracks of Hollywood movies and many media player are capable of playing external audios like: VLC MPC Kodi (video and external audio file name must be same to be detected and played along) I've used Plex and found it really frustrating because it cannot perform this task, neither it has parental controls (free), so I switched to Kodi but it also has no greater features than EMBY! I installed it today and updated all my libraries, I really loved it and want to use it as my Media Server, its Combo with Kodi is really awesome, I don't like to watch movies in Web Browsers so used its Plugin for Kodi, Now everything is fine except: Emby lacking ability to play an external audio. Please introduce this feature. Not only for Web player but it must work with Kodi Add-on so there should be an option in Kodi to play external audio if using Emby Plugin and server in it. I shall be very very thankful too you. I really found Emby best of all but if it your team design an Emby Media Player for desktop PC, it would be really really great. Thank you.

Thanks ginjaninja, Wma files do not have the different versions of id3 tags like mp3 files do (in fact I believe they don't even use id3 but their own though compatible format). I ran ffprobe on all tracks in this one various artists album and the only one that shows Pharrel Williams as the artist is the first track which is correct for the album Now That's What I Call Music! 50 (US version) and same as what the tag editors show me. I'll try testing again with just the one track in my library, but if ffprobe doesn't extract the second spelling of the artist in any of the tracks then there really is only one place I can think MB can be getting passed that other spelling and that is musicbrainz. Mbz is the only place I see that has this other spelling as it lists albums under the artist with both spellings. These are the two folders MB creates which matches the two spellings in mbz, both under the same artist and linked together under the same mbz id. On my main server it does the same for every artist which is duplicated C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\ImagesByName\artists\Pharrell C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\ImagesByName\artists\Pharrell Williams Here is an example of another duplicated artist created from the various artists album (Charlie's Angles Full Throttle) on my main server. This artist also has albums listed with both spellings on the musicbrainz site though I only have the one album/song with this artist in my library. C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\ImagesByName\artists\MC Hammer C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\ImagesByName\artists\M.C. Hammer I really believe mbz must be passing these two spellings to MB for every duplicate artist I have, but will keep trying other things including converting tracks to mp3. I'm probably the only one using wma files so just guessing this doesn't apply to the others having the issue. Shoot, Luke can sign into my one computer and check himself if he wants or just grab the files. Well... as long as he doesn't tell me he is grabbing them so I can claim ignorance

Emby Server and Clients as well as many devices won't function well without Internet. These are streaming devices/services and that usually entails having access to the Internet these days. What you should do is what @rbjtech advised and segment your network based on Internet access needs and NOT treat the whole network as one segment.
