I don't believe so, as you need to add something (an extra div, an id, etc..) into manuallogin.html in order to be able to specifically target the page. I wouldn't entirely rule out a master coder coming around and proving how it's possible, but from my understanding it isn't.2 points

You can do tags or setup a library folder specifically for him and only give him access to that folder. So everything you move in and out of that folder applies to him.2 points

Many people have upgraded DSM7.0, but Emby is no longer available, so here's how to downgrade from DSM7.0 to DSM6.2.3. 1. Get putty ready 2. DSM7.0 opens Telnet and SSH 3. Use puTTY to connect to DSM7, enter the user password, and enter the following command code: vi /etc.defaults/VERSION 4.Overwrite VERSION content: majorversion="6" minorversion="2" productversion="6.2.3" buildphase="GM" buildnumber="25426" smallfixnumber="0" builddate="2020/07/01" buildtime="06:24:39" 5.Reboot the machine 6.Use the Synology Assistant to find the machine 7.Install DSM 6.2.3(At this point, the upgrade will prompt an error, don't worry, because at this point, Telnet port will be opened, and only after this step, can port 23 be opened, repeat point 3, but the user name: root password is: 101-0101) 8.Just install 6.2.3 again. It is recommended not to keep the configuration (the file will not be lost), and DSM7 has been successfully degraded to DSM6.2.31 point

Neither one of those actually provider people information/metadata (TVDB can provide a image). Only TMDB does, so any new person coming in from a TV library can not get any information is the way i understand the workflow. This is a issue of People being a sudo item of said library.1 point

Dashboard-Library in each library (enable Advanced setting) to see more options.1 point

Actually what your are seeing is a somewhat unidentified person. It would appear to have a image from TVDB. Is this a person from a TV library? People are tricky and do to provider requests there is not easy way to update them without spamming their site (TMDB). All you can do is Refresh the person to get the TMDB if. Only way around this would be having TMDB as first provider for Movies and TV but that could create different issues. Would need to see the server log for this action. What providers are enable for TV and Movie libraries?1 point

I guess something like this, I know it works when I changed my resolution to 1360x768 @media (max-width: 90em) and (min-width: 52em) {.portraitCard { width: 12.5%;} }1 point

I was actually able to get this resolved. These are the steps I took in case somebody comes across this thread. I have a Sony TV and the most recent update I noticed that the TV was lagging a lot, I was to the point where I was going to try and claim a warranty (The Sony website is so terrible and I don't even want to talk about this part I'm so mad at Sony) Anyway after the last reply from Ebr, I ended up doing the following. I updated my pi hole, I don't think this actually had anything to do with it. But I noticed that the Wi-Fi on the TV was dropping like every few seconds. I have a fairly nice wireless access point so I thought it was the TV or the update. I ended up disconnecting/forgetting the Wi-Fi and reconnecting, that may have fixed it on its own because that also fixed the TV lag. However I also adjusted my radios, normally I have them broadcasting it high and I reset them back to automatic. Thank you for the replies1 point

Disable your Pi-Hole for 5 minutes and try and connect. If it works, then re-enable Pi-Hole and try again, which should fail. You will then see in the logs what was blocked, then you can whitelist the URL.1 point

Okay, we recently had another using a Pi-Hole that had a similar problem. They had to configure something in it... Edit: here is the topic1 point

Hi. This sounds like a network connectivity problem. Is something possibly blocking the device?1 point

Hi Friends, I found this thread and I think my request belongs best here. I am using Emby server and I am very pleased with it. I think it is the best media server available. Normally I have used Kodi to watch my content from the Emby server. But I also try to use the Emby app to watch my Movies and Shows (as much as possible). In my case it is the Android TV version of the Emby app (which is what most of my other users use also). Lately a lot of improvements has made it better and easier to use the Android TV app. Especially subtitles that now can be adjusted in position (Thanks). And have a "background" (Thanks). (If you could adjust the position also outside the video into the black bars it would be even better) Picture and sound quality is also quite good when using the Emby app - except when playing AAC 5.1 or AAC 7.1. From the Android TV Emby app these videos comes out as a PCM stereo signal. The AAC multichannel codecs needs to be transcoded before they can be sent over HDMI in order to have surround sound. HDMI has no protocol for carrying AAC multichannel in the cable (so a "pass through" is not an option). In Android Kodi app this problem can be fixed by chosing "Enable AC3 transcoding" in System/Sound settings. (Please see attachment for the setting in Kodi) This option is really neccesary in order to enjoy surround sound from video files that has AAC multichannel sound. Unfortenately this is still not possible in the EMBY app. (Neither in operative settings of the Android TV system) I believe this is what this thread is about - implementing such option in the Emby app (in my case the Andriod TV Emby app) I would appreciate it very much and I think that will solve my last issue and I can finally unistall the Kodi app P.S. Another option could maybe be that Emby server had an option for transcoding all AAC multichannel to AC3 "on the fly"? Before sending the stream to client. All the Best Redaktorn1 point

Hi. Just to note, the change in url is not related to the password issue you are encountering.1 point

After upgrading EMBY-server from 4.4.3 to 4.5.2. In the new version of the player, the new Chinese subtitle font is too ugly. Please restore the font appearance to the old version. We need MICROSOFT YAHEI.1 point

The only way you can rollback without starting over is if you have a system backup of Emby before the update.1 point

Once again you may be right. Found another post from 2016 . Luke responded. I need to delete all .jpg files. Looks like it's choosing those as the default. Caching seems to be an issue, as i've checked now and the correct juno poster is displayed.1 point

With additional tabs being added to content types, every content type library needs a Landing/Default screen option on Home Screen settings. Needed Default screen options Mixed Content Home video and photos1 point

Hello there, Nvidia Shield feature I have a feature request that I feel would make browsing movies MUCH easier especially those that have huge movie libraries. I appreciate the fact that you have movie details on the home page, but I feel expanding this feature system wide would be great. My wife and friends take turns picking a movie and clicking on the movie poster, reading the summary, then clicking back repeat x 100 is cumbersome. Mockup: Simple design.Everyone I showed this to loved the idea. (See the summary box outlined in red) Thing is people that usually get into Plex and Emby are usually movie lovers and collect movies as a hobby and sometimes we forget what a movie is about, or if friends visit and want a quick glance at the movie summary. Most people here have 100's if not 1000's of movies in our library. This is also a wife approved feature, lol. You can have this feature turned off by default, but for us movie collectors this would be a dream. Thank you for your consideration. It's always these little features that send it over the top when deciding to go premiere.1 point

I'd like to request the following improvements for photo library playback.I tried searching for them and couldn't find them already requested, apologies if I missed something: Implement left/right arrow navigation for next/previous photo in the web viewer. Space for pause/playback of the slideshow in the web viewer. Show a current/count - eg 5/299 - view on the overlay to keep track of how many photos are in the folder and when we start from the beginning. Add a fullscreen option for photos in the web viewer Thanks1 point
