  1. By now, you've seen the images of how pretty Emby Theater is: You can learn more about the app by reading the original announcement: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/blog/1/entry-290-introducing-the-new-emby-theater-for-windows-and-the-web/ But what about the skinning engine? How can we create our own skins? We're please to announce that it's very easy. All You Need is a Little HTML If you can do HTML and JavaScript, then you can build a skin for Emby Theater. It's that easy. Just Fork the Default Skin The default skin is open sourced on Github: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/emby-web-defaultskin Just fork it, give it a new name, make your changes, and that's all there is to it. You can host your skin directly on Github, and users can easily install it within the app's settings. So fork away and start skinning. We're excited to see what you come up with.

  2. We're happy to announce a new version of Emby for Apple TV with several improvements. Improved "Up Next" display We've improved this panel that comes up before the next episode plays to be interactive. Allowing you to cancel or immediately advance to the next item. Background Audio Support Audio started in Emby will now continue to play when you leave the app. For those that want to use your favorite Apple TV Screensaver app while using Emby as your music source you now can. Improved Multi-Disc Album Display Tracks on multi-disc albums will now be properly separated by disc in the display. Improved Dashboard Device Display Your proper Apple TV device name will now display in the Emby Server dashboard active devices list. We hope you enjoy these improvements. You can find Emby in the App Store on your Apple TV 4 device.
