When the app initially was released, back when the project was Media Browser and was a community driven hobby project, it was the official app in the same way as @Redshirt did the official Android app and @ScottIsAfool did it for Windows Phone. But with Emby incorporating, the company needs it's own app and I'm not a part of that company. Hence, the app is no longer the official one.2 points
