I don't see anything in the change logs regarding this, although I might not even know what to look for, but this audio setting is now missing from the Roku menu and replaced with a message to change audio settings in the web interface. However, in my web interface, I don't have anything for audio beyond a preferred language and Play default audio track regardless of language.

As it stands now, I'm on Emby Server version 4.3.0.30, so one release behind current stable build. Has there been a change in the web interface with the new release? I'm a bit stuck because I can't play 5.1 content and for some reason, the Arch Linux server stable release hasn't be updated and the beta is reporting issues with stability/starting the service.

Hi, yeah, it used to be in this menu here under playback settings, but now it refers users to the web interface, but there's no options there either. Here's an image of that specific menu you mentioned - https://imgur.com/qNgF48N

It doesn't open up or anything. Trying to proceed is blocked.

I think some of those menus have additional options that are not obvious until you scroll all the way down. If I recall correctly, the option you are referring to is still there, but hidden until you scroll all the way down.

You're right. I haven't had to go into that menu often and I just completely assumed it was in the audio settings menu and didn't realize the menu extended beyond what was visible since there's nothing indicating it.

We are going to be making this obvious that more context exists beyond the present focus. It was not intentional. The standard Roku mechanisms do not support presentation of scroll indicators. We have instead built our own for this that match standard presentations other applications use. The scroll indicators are smart, intuitive and non-intrusive.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It will come in especially handy on the language selection screen. That screen has normal Roku on-device language settings first. That means Spanish winds up at the bottom. But under Spanish are the Emby supported languages that extend beyond what just Roku supports.

It is these extended languages that were not obvious existed as selections until the user would scroll down. With these indicators it will be immediately obvious that our language support on Roku is beyond what Roku expects applications to support.

Thanks for helping make Emby better. Keep pointing out issues and we will keep fixing them. :)
