Gyp Joe 2
Hey Fellas: I have a kitchen HP Touchshart PC that I use to connect to my Emby server in the den and a Roku in the living area. Anyway, I have been experiencing some wifi issues lately so I upgraded my router to a custom firmware which fixed my issues however now the kitchen PC running theater refuses to connect to the server. The roku device is fine and theater is working on the server of course - it's just this one pc. Do you have any tips? I tried disabling the firewall on both PC's, rebooting, re-installing theater - I can ping the server from the kitchen pc - internet is fine on both. Thanks! Solution Gyp Joe 2 Posted September 7, 2019 Author Solution Share Posted September 7, 2019 Ok figured it out...the new firewall firmware flipped all my wireless clients to private mode somehow so they couldn't see anything on the local LAN. Thanks for your help.
