Bobby121418 11
Hi all, I have recently installed Emby on my little DS119j. I am however getting errors when I try to register going through the server link on my NAS. So, now I have registered through the Emby site. But now how do I put these details in my NAS, because everytime I try to go through the NAS it takes me to the initial registration page. Thanks B. A registration page sounds odd/off to me.. You would need to setup an account on your server and connect your EMBY Connect account to it in the settings for the user account in the dashboard of the server. The link.. could be one of several ( http://app.emby.media/, http://tv.emby.media/, maybe a few others.. ) but its the IP of the machine it is installed on with port 8096.. this will take you to the WebUI for the server. I tried to set it up, but the whole thing is running very slowly. It takes ages for the pages to refresh. I have registered a user via Emby web itself but when I try to link it to my server it doesn't connect. Could it be that Emby is indexing my files? If so, which folders and how long will it take? Your other topic would suggest the wrong version is installed as it would appear you need armv8. armada37xx (armv8) x19 Series DS119j https://github.com/SynoCommunity/spksrc/wiki/Architecture-per-Synology-model https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/download/4.5.4.0/emby-server-synology_4.5.4.0_armv8.spk https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/download/4.6.0.44/emby-server-synology_4.6.0.44_armv8.spk Edited May 11, 2021 by Happy2Play added beta link

I will try it once I get connectivity back, though I am pretty sure I tried all the versions.

I am confused about what exactly you mean here...If you have created a user and set up your server.. you should be logging in directly to it via a web browser.. without the need for links or IP addresses unless you are entering the URL into the browser which should be http://<insert IP of the machine here>:8096... where you lick n your user tile and/or enter your credentials. Unless the operation is overloading your 1 Bay Synology processing power it should respond.

I plan to uninstall and try again as per the post above.
