Carlo 4330 Posted June 27, 2021 Share Posted June 27, 2021 OK so for me it worked perfectly and overwrote the existing file. I'm going to try setting up a VM with DSM 6 and install Emby on this. Carlo 4330 Posted June 27, 2021 Share Posted June 27, 2021 On my Synology 920+ I installed the VM manager. I downloaded the DSM 6 image and created a new VM DSM 6 install. Next I downloaded and installed the release version of Emby for DSM 6. I installed Emby 4.6.3 onto this VM. I then gave the Emby user read/write access. Next I installed my Emby Premiere Key. Then I setup a test movie library. I navigate to a movie (Top Gun) and setup a convert It converted and updated the file So it works fine with a default setup on both DSM 6 & 7. So I'd think this must be a permission issue when things are changed from the default settings. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
