eric.faes@gmail.com 0
Hi When on windows i can just add playlist in XML or edit with notepad++ or so... But now i have server running on TrueNAS. Editing playlist is not possible and when i change the security rights then Emby does not see them anymore. So adding playlist from my former setup is not possible. Tried adding the 989 users and adding to SMB share but also no go. What can i do here to import xml playlists. Luke 37071
Quote change the security rights Hi, why would you do this?
eric.faes@gmail.com 0
Because in the map where the playlist are stored on TrueNAS you have no rights so change them or copy playlist from an old setup.

eric.faes@gmail.com 0
When editing a playlist that is made with Emby and change it an save it , it keeps rolling back to its original state. So the changes i have made are rolled back. This happens after i refresh the library. Also all the songs are deleted in the xml playlist i copy from an old server . Giving : But still the playlist is not inported. you would think there would be playlist now i 0 songs then ? Luke 37071
How did you refresh the library? I would just run a regular library scan.

Looks promising That's essentially an older version of Emby. Not sure why you would do that, but regarding this playlist problem, what is an example path in the playlist xml? Does that path match how you've setup the music library in emby library setup?
