CharleyVarrick 277
Title almost says it all on our htpc setup (win10, Kodi), if I pause briefly (a few seconds), all is good. But If media is left on pause 15 minutes+ or so, when hitting play., audio resume playing normally but we're staring at paused picture for 30 seconds before it kicks back in. I believe this system is running latest official repo beta This problem has always been (4 years +)

quickmic 1344
Have you checked the Bios settings? Usually there are power saving options available.

CharleyVarrick 277
I could not find any bios settings that would cause this behavior; in fact I was pleased to see of 3 main pwr scheme offered , it was set for max performance. Problem is easy enough to reproduce; start viewing any media, then pause it for at least 15 minutes. Any Emby and/or Kodi and/or E4K next gen setting worth checking? muzicman0 59
I have a very similar problem. It started a few months ago for me. If I stop playback, and resume, it does basically what you say.

muzicman0 59
I have not. I am not even sure how to get that version.
quickmic 1344
Latest (experimental) versions are available in this thread, first posting: Latest version has a Kodi 18 bug, don;t use it. Kodi 19 is save. (6.x versions requires complete db resync!) Edited August 10, 2021 by quickmic
muzicman0 59
I'll install the experimental on one of my Shields when I get home in a bit. thanks!
muzicman0 59
I installed the experimental version, however, it didn't change anything. I tried accessing the files outside of Emby (I added the drive as a source), and the same issue happens, so I don't think it is an EmbyNextGen problem. Both of my Shields do it though, so I am unsure what is causing it.
