aadham 5
Hi I have Emby server set up on an Shield TV Pro 2019 for my home use over LAN. Also, I have granted access to one friend over WAN. My internet connection is a 200Mb fiber connection, while my friend's is 100Mb. My library is stored in two HDDs connected to my Enigma2 4K satellite receiver. Both the Shield and the receiver are connected to the main router through 1.0Gbsp Ethernet connection. I have no problems at all over my home network, but my friend keeps running into sudden stops of playback at around minute 30 of almost any file. He's facing the same problem while accessing my server through his iPad/MacBook Pro, Linux laptop and his Windows10-based desktop PC. I have tried disabling/enabling throttling, as well as having my friend set the Home Video Quality to 1080 - 6Mbps. I'm attaching the logs for the latest two files he tried streaming, as well as the server log. I hope I'll be able to find a solution here on the forum. Thanks to all in advance:) ffmpeg-directstream-adb0e91a-3e95-4503-aa91-778af480a9d8_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-12768236-2820-4092-8b47-c1026f732a9a_1.txt embyserver.txt

Luke 37133
Hi there, I would suggest lowering the in-app quality setting and see if that helps. Try lowering it from 6 mbps to 1 mbps, then work your way up from there as you see success. Please see if that helps. Thanks.
