As you know, the user setting "Allow Media Deletion From" in Emby let's anyone with access delete media files. I do not want this to ever be possible at all; thus, I'm looking for a way to edit the Emby DSM user to have varied permissions based on file type. For instance: .png, .jpg - read, write (for artwork) .mkv, .mp4 - read only (so no deletion is possible) Does any Synology user know if this is possible to do somehow? Obviously I can switch entire folders or shares to read-only for Emby, but this creates a new issue when it comes to artwork. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
