clarkss12 296
Time to torture the grandkids and MAKE them watch the OLD Halloween movies......... They want to watch Hocus Pocus, but they have to watch some Svengoolie movies first...... What are your suggested Halloween movies??
Sammy 738
Not movie suggestions but something else.. You can tag your movies as "Halloween" and then set up a channel with Virtual TV Plugin for continuous, randomly selected movies to "plug in" your kids..

Gilgamesh_48 944
Yes, the original "Invisible Man" is a good choice as is the originals of: Frankenstein Werewolf of London The Wolf Man (1941) Dracula King Kong Them 13 Ghosts The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms The Blob Invasion of the Body Snatchers The Thing The Fly And many other early horror movies. And for cheezie movies that are suitable for this season: Plan 9 From Outer Space Killer Klowns from Outer Space Attack of the Killer Tomatoes Abbot and Costello meet (add random monster here) Beetlejuice Buffy the Vampire Slayer Of course there are many more modern movies but, mostly, the movie industry has forgotten how to tell a story that is fun and scary. A few more movies that fit this season are: The Birds Carnival of Souls Cat People Children of the Corn Creature from the Black Lagoon Village of the Damned The Day the Earth Stood Still Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1932) Firestarter Westworld Gojira (also known as Godzilla but they are VERY different movies see the original without Raymond Burr.) Gremlins The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane (This is NOT for young children) The Innocents Invaders from Mars It (The 1990 miniseries) Jaws (again not for the real young) Night of the Living Dead Mothra The Mummy (1932) Pet Sematary Piranha Poltergeist Willard OK. I got a bit carried away BUT I am quite sure I left out many deserving movies. But what I listed should fill all kids of any age with thrills and chills through the Halloween season.
