ginjaninja 537
Administering a large playlist [on web client] is made very difficult as you can not tell if a track has already been added. It would be great if you could quickly see what tracks by the artist are already present [ideally filter by free text on artist]. There is a related FR to add protection functionality on duplicates, but even so a filter by artist would be very helpful. Or do people use a separate tool to create and mange playlists with a way to import the finished result into Emby? My attempt to create a 1000+ track car playlist in Emby with a folder sync to USB has ground to a halt. PenkethBoy 2063
you can do this via a script to create/update playlists and apply via the api 200+ playlists in a couple of minutes
ginjaninja 537
since 4.7.0.6 its no longer possible to use the browser search feature [workaround] to find content in a long playlist, increasing the value of a filter widget on playlists even more so. maybe 4.7.0.6 introduced some sort of virtual loading of the playlist pane? so playlist objects off screen no longer exist? thats what seems to be happening...
