Shenniko 5
I have an issue with the Samsung app not playing the right audo on dual audio files.. Its selected as english as default, and can clearly see its set as english before playing the movie, but it doesnt actually play english.. and even when its playing, if you try and swap to other audo language and back etc.. it wont change to english.. This happens with all media files with dual audio This only happens on Samsun TV app, works fine on Android and PC Samsung Smart TV (UE48H6700) Emby Theater 0.122 Below is media info from file Media Info Video Title720p H264 CodecH264 AVCYes ProfileHigh Level41 Resolution1280x536 Aspect Ratio2.40:1 AnamorphicNo InterlacedNo Framerate23.976 Bitrate1,272 kbps Bit Depth8 bit Pixel Formatyuv420p Reference Frames1 NAL4 Audio TitleHindi AAC stereo LanguageHindi CodecAAC ProfileHE-AAC Layoutstereo Channels2 ch Bitrate192 kbps Sample Rate44,100 Hz DefaultNo Audio TitleEnglish AAC stereo (Default) LanguageEnglish CodecAAC ProfileHE-AAC Layoutstereo Channels2 ch Bitrate192 kbps Sample Rate22,050 Hz DefaultYes Subtitle TitleEnglish (Forced SUBRIP) LanguageEnglish CodecSUBRIP DefaultNo ForcedYes ExternalNo Containermkv Path###########################.mkv Size974MB
Carlo 4330
Hi, That is a bit strange as the English track is also marked as the default track. What version the app do you have installed on the TV?
FrostByte 5052
He has version .122 which is the latest for Orsay tv sets. Also, Samsung is no longer accepting updates for their legacy OS so if this is indeed an app problem there isn't much Luke can do unless he can convince Samsung to make an acception. The more server changes the more things like this are going to arise.
Carlo 4330
Got ya. Thanks for letting me know that. I'm learning a lot about Samsung lately following you guys! I've got an older model 75" 3D Samsung, but have a shield attached since it's so much faster!
Luke 37118
Hi, where can we see that you've chosen English?
Shenniko 5
@Luke In the media info it says "TitleEnglish AAC stereo (Default)"

On that screen do you have the English soundtrack selected on some other?

SamES 891
I doesn't look like I implemented the function to set the initial audio track in the Orsay app.
FrostByte 5052
Until this can be fixed Shenniko may have to remux that video and place the default English track as the first audio track in the file, then refresh
SamES 891
That would be the easiest way
