Emby only as library

Hi, i want to know if is it possible to use emby just to visualize my media in a prettier way on mi Android tv.

I don't want to stream to another devices, just to watch my movies and tv shows directly from an hdd conected to my tv.

No,  Emby requires a Server OS that does the work of organizing your media so that the Client App can access it.

While not really the answer you're looking for a Device like the Shield TV Pro could be attached to the TV. It has USB ports to attach HDDs with and can run both the Emby Server and Emby Client.  So it could be used as a "one stop product" for your needs but it would cost a few $$$.
