WesamH 0 Posted July 13, 2020 Share Posted July 13, 2020 (edited) Hello everyone, I finally got everything working fine locally, but can’t figure out remotely. For my plex server, I had to log into the ATT modem/router combo and port forward TCP/UDP and it fixed the remote connection issues. I tried the same for Emby (but 8096), and it didn’t work. locally I can login from any app or device. i port forwarded thru my firewall (which solved my previous local connection issues), but can’t think of anything else. on a side note, I tried Emby connect also but something strange happens. When I add an Emby connect user on my server, it accepts the username, but when I try changing to the email instead (associated with the same username) I get an error. I can’t get Emby connect to tie to my server so I can just login and it’ll automatically connect to my server.
