Painkiller8818 203
Hi, It would be great if you could add a checkbox in the Metadata Editor to lock the collections. eg: The Lion King Collection also adds the new one, but i wanna separete the cartoon and real movie even if they are in one collection on TMDB.Everytime my Libs are refreshing metadata my changes to the collections are undone.I can lock the whole movie but it would be nice to have the option to just lock the collection.I think many People make their own collections e.g all marvel movies as a collection. Thanks a lot

Painkiller8818 203
If i rescan the library or it is done automatically my 2019 lion king is again in the collection with the cartoon movies and also other movies with manual collections like bumblebee, i removed this movie from transformers collection but next time it was in there again. So it is overwriting my changes. Deathsquirrel 741
You need to remove the autoboxset plugin. Install it, let it run once to create collections, and then remove it. The TMDB collection data i hideously unreliable in my experience, with edits coming and going that make running that plugin all the time a pointless pain in the ass. I suppose a lock function in the collection data would solve that but so does just removing the plugin once it's done its job.

PenkethBoy 2063
I just added a random movie to a collection - ran the library scan - and it was not removed by the box set plugin so it does not remove movies - only adds them from my usage If however you refresh a collection - then you are resetting it - hence why your additions are removed If you have for a library "Automatically refresh metadata from the internet:" set then this will do it also - i always have this set to "never" for all my libraries including my collections library

Deathsquirrel 741
The plugin won't remove things if you follow the directions from@@PenkethBoy, but it will add back things that you removed already. It will add back collections you deleted and add back movies you removed from collections. In my experience it's not something you'd want to leave up full time unless you want to hand your movie organizing over to crowdsourced data. Your mileage may vary but if you ran it, looked at the collections it created, and proceeded to delete half a dozen collections thinking 'why would I want that...' then you should uninstall it after first use.
