Netbug 26
Is there any way to use the remote functionality present in TV and Movies with music? I'd love to be able to play music on the home theater and control it from my Windows Phone. Perhaps some integration with the just-opened API that Microsoft has released for XBOX Music?
ScottIsAFool 517
Are you saying when playing music through Theatre or MBC, going to the remote page in the app doesn't allow you to control what's on there?
Netbug 26
Sorry for the confusion. On the Windows Phone App, when looking at "Music" under the "Views" category, the only option I have is "Play" (at the bottom). In the other sections (Moves, TV), I have the "Play On..." option. I have MBC running on my main HTPC. It should be noted that I am running 8.1 and I just noticed that it also is pulling music from XBOX music that is not on my device. That may be related? Solution ScottIsAFool 517 Posted July 7, 2014 Solution Share Posted July 7, 2014 Thanks for the clarification. This is a feature that has been requested (https://github.com/MediaBrowser/MediaBrowser.WindowsPhone/issues/101) I will look at including it in the next release.
