Default version of episode

I'm adding in a series that has multiple versions of each episode - up to three versions, in some cases.

 

Is there a set way to do this? My naming scheme at the moment is basically

 

Doctor Who S23E05 - Terror of the Vervoids (1).mkv

Doctor Who S23E05 - Terror of the Vervoids (1) - alternate edit.mkv

Doctor Who S23E05 - Terror of the Vervoids (1) - 2019 special edition edit.mkv

 

I want to make the "as broadcast" (the top one) the default and then list the others in alphabetical order, but Emby seems to be changing the order in the "Version" box at random - some episodes the "alternate edit" is chosen as the default, and the SRTs downloaded (for the broadcast edit) are downloaded for that file. In other cases, the 2019 edit is chosen.

 

Is there a way to do this? Am I missing something?

Currently no, as the client/app will attempt to choose the most compatible version to play.

That's not great, I was hoping for something a bit better. I know that Plex has the option to split an episode, but whether the same approach is worth following in Emby I don't know.

You can also split it emby. There is a button on the episode detail screen to do that.

Oh thanks! Is that a recent addition? I may have to wait for Terra Master to upgrade from 4.3.1.0 if that's the case.
