everyone 0
I am recording every episode of a show. Some of them are mislabled (I think the plex server messed with emby). I want to delete all the programs and start from scratch. Emby is set to not record shows that have been recorded previously. Is there a place I can go to reset that setting for one show? Sammy 738
You can do it in the series setting for each show. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk
everyone 0
I have turned the setting to all shows them back to just ones we haven't recorded yet, but it seems to have a record of previously recorded shows.

everyone 0
I guess I don't understand. I just told it to record all shows but not ones that had already been recorded

everyone 0
If a show was recorded to my library, and then deleted, will it record again if that show airs again? I have it set to record all episodes.
Luke 37118
Well sure, that's the idealistic viewpoint, but I'm trying to help you see how it actually happens and what needs to be in place for it. So can you please look at that and then go over an example? Thanks.
everyone 0
I think I figured it out.. I was just looking on my NAS and saw that for shows that I deleted, there were still NFO files. Is emby looking at the NFO file to see what has already been recorded? I am in the process of deleting all the NFO's that don't have actual shows saved on my NAS to see if those episodes rerecord as previously unwatched. My main question all along was, is there a file that is keeping track of what has been recorded (even if it has been deleted) so that that program in not rerecorded in the future. Luke 37118
Hi, no, it's not looking at the nfo. It's looking at what the help text says - season and episode numbers of the programs in the guide compared to what's in your library.
everyone 0
So if I delete a file, it will be record it? That doesn't seem to be what's happening, but thank you for your answer.
SHSPVR 119
I think the problem maybe related to if you watch the show and it was mark watched you need unmark it there no way to do this in Emby as we can't see the series history if the show was removed. Emby still need a lot work in DVR department Edited March 26, 2020 by SHSPVR
