rhodges 37
https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby/wiki/How-to-build-a-Server-Plugin I think I read that you have moved on to .NET Core 3.1 (I've been away for a while). Is creating a plugin (personal, not distributed) still recommended to use .NET Standard, and if so, what version? I'm guessing we are good to use 2.1 of it? Luke 37112
Yes but plugins should still stay on .net standard 2.0. They can't use 2.1 until all platforms support it, and that includes platforms such as freebsd and some Nas devices that use the mono runtime. There is a mono runtime update with 2.1 support but it's not in freebsd ports yet.
chef 3746
I have also noticed that the json serializers have changed in the latest release for plugin development. Bye bye newtonsoft.
