Paro89 3 Posted December 15, 2019 Share Posted December 15, 2019 @@SamES Hello everybody. I've already tried to ask in some topics, but I haven't been able to solve. We try again. I recently installed emby on my LG TV and ran all the steps to set it up. Arrived at the time to connect to the server (which I have on an all-in-one PC asus) everything hangs up and the connection error is checked. On the PC it works great, but on the TV I can't connect (and I'm connected to the same network as the PC). I also tried to make the manual connection, with the PIN, but nothing, I can't get the television to communicate with the emby server. My current skills do not allow me to go further, alone. Do you have any other devices, such as a mobile device that you can try and test connecting to the server? This will help to determine if it is a problem with the TV or the server. Some other things to check, are you using the server name or IP address on the TV to connect? I tried to connect with other TV, samsung tv, but the same error occurred.i tried with android device too, but nothing. Thats is what we need to resolve Here is what I would try: First, disable Avast, then restart the Emby server and see if it now has an In-home address. If that does not work, either disable the wifi on the server, or disconnnect the LAN/ethernet cable. Do one or the other, but not both. Then restart the Emby server again.
