JoshFink 19
I just started playing around with Embycon and so far I really like it. One thing I can’t find, but I swear I saw somewhere, was how to enable deleting episodes of TV show episodes when they’re done. i.e. I watch a show all the way through and when I stop it or when the show ends it asks me, “Do you want to delete?” Is this there and I’m missing it or am I imagining things and it was never there? JoshFink 19
its under events in the EmbyCon settings Thanks. So I should just need to set it less than 100% to work?
TeamB 2354
whatever percentage you want it to prompt you at when you stop playing the episode. i.e If you set it to 90%, if you play an episode past 90% and then stop it you will be prompted. JoshFink 19
Well, since you asked. Yeah, actually, there are but I’ve been too busy to post them. In addition to shows being deleted there are a lot of times shows don’t show up until I quit Kodi and restart it. I also frequently have shows that won’t play on first click and requires me to hit play again. Wasn’t a huge deal as work took priority. It just seemed easier ,for my use cases, to not deal with the database and go straight to Embycon.
Angelblue05 4130
Thanks for taking the time to reply. Which version of Emby for Kodi were you running? I’ve been told such issues had already been resolved maybe 2-3 builds ago. Playback failing on first try should also be resolved with 4.1.18. New content missing, however, was this when starting Kodi? While Kodi is already running? Waking up Kodi? JoshFink 19
I’ll have to look when I get home at the Emby for Kodi version. However I do have it set to auto update and I believe when I was troubleshooting the other day it was already at the latest. Kodi is 18.5 New content missing would sporadically show up but most of the time I had to shut down Kodi and restart it for the sync to work and pull in new content. This is also on Nvidia Shields that used to work fine and then all started having issues. Not that it should matter but I figured I’d let you know.
