emby-noob 4
Not sure if this has been posted before, but when I download something to Emby on my iPhone, Android phone, or iPad and watch it, it posts to Trakt with a watch time of something like December 7, 0000. Watching from my TV it scrobbles fine, hosting Trakt on my Synology server. I run Plex side by side which also scrobbles to Trakt and it doesn't have this issue, it only happens on Emby and only on mobile devices. I'll be happy to grab screenshots or logs as applicable, although I don't have any just this second. Cheers
Luke 37097
Hi there, does the server dashboard activity viewer show the correct time that playback was stopped?
emby-noob 4
Let me test and try to check again tonight or tomorrow. I tried to initially, but with being on the road by the time I got home the info was kinda buried. Thanks for the help as always Luke.

emby-noob 4
So I had a lazy weekend, just now got a chance to use Emby on the go. I watched 2 episodes today on my Android phone. Both of which posted at 'Dec 31, 0000 at 16:07' exactly according to Trakt. After getting home, they're not even on the server records at all. I figured maybe it just hadn't "phoned home" yet as I often have to refresh to get Emby to catch up on my TV (Settings and Home does the trick from the main page) so I figured I'd give it a few minutes and check again. No updates as of yet, although the episodes were shuffled off of the Next Up list and indicated as watched on all platforms. I've also noticed that when I do 12mbps quality on my Android phone it downloads right away and is done. I flagged one episode to download about 20 minutes ago and it's still set as 'Ready to Transfer' on my iPhone. Does that infer that the server just has to do more to convert for iOS where Android can just read right out the gate? Let me know if you'd like me to post this one in a separate topic, I've just had downloads that can take hours to process, to the point where they're not ready when I leave in the morning. I still have Android for now, and Plex as backups, but I do prefer Emby all things considered.
