miniliQuid 85
Just noticed a small problem when I switched to Desktop view (first time I tried using it). It is easily solved by using TV view, works slightly different of course, but it's fine. However the size of the menu's is super small on 4K monitor when using desktop view in ET. Compared to using TV size, it is just way too small. Is this simply a problem created by the large resolution of the 4k screen or have others encountered this as well? Luke 37118
It should be the same as the text size in the web app, no?
miniliQuid 85
It should be the same as the text size in the web app, no? Well I wish, since that would at least be an improvement Comparison below:

Guest asrequested
Well those are different areas but they look about the same to me. You're kidding, right? A bunch of us have reported this, and for some reason you can see that it's tiny and doesn't scale. It's unusable!
Luke 37118
I'm just saying that it's the same as the web app.

daedalus 430
here @ fullhd, windows scale 100%, it's exactly the same (except for the top bar color for some reason) left web client @ FF, right ET Edited October 30, 2019 by daedalus
Guest asrequested
Windows is scaled to 300%, which is the default. Theater should also respect that value, but it doesn't.
daedalus 430
300% is the default ?
Guest asrequested
300% is the default ? Windows has a default scale based on your desktop resolution. So if you have a 4k display, 300% is the default. The web app will respect that value, so too should Theater. Others have reported that even on a Surface, the everything is too small and unusable. It's been this way from the start. It needs to scale, and doesn't. Edited October 30, 2019 by Doofus
daedalus 430
ah it's about scaling, and ET is not respecting system settings and is left behind, who would have thought
miniliQuid 85
Well those are different areas but they look about the same to me. My Bad, don't generally use the web app so didn't go into settings screen. Best way to see it is the difference in account picture size. Web app is defo bigger which makes it usable. The minimize & exit button on desktop mode for ET are like super tiny (i mean the account profile picture is hard to miss in comparison). So there is definitely a difference in size between web app & ET. PS: scaled both pictures down equally, so the size difference is definitely how it looks on screen between emby theater & web app Edited November 4, 2019 by miniliQuid
Luke 37118
Are you still running into this?
miniliQuid 85
Will test this later and report back. Currently I no longer use is cause it's way too small to be workable. I tend to stick to TV mode. Will get back on this when I get a little more time

miniliQuid 85
Just checked it out and yeah, still very much an issue. Screenshots below, web app on top (obvious I guess), theater is the bottom part. The shows are just fine, but when it comes to the settings buttons etc those on theater are just extremely small. And where you can still easily find your account button, hitting the exit button or minimize is a real pain. Edit: Both made on second screen (TV) of course.
