msenjur 0
hello! im a new user of EMBY Server. Previusly i used Plex, but lately there were some issuies that i got sick of... i liked emby rightaway. it is faster and smoother on Chromecast. videos are playing smoothly, so the auto-quality works! what im missing is some kind of timeline in photo library. I have photos from many years ago, and it takes al lot of clicking to get to them... i noticed that photo are sorted on pages... so again few clicks more to find some old photo. is there any other way, that i havent found yet? on android app, how to i set sorting? i cant find any options... edit: on my tab i have to turn screen to landscape. then it show options. on mobile it shows them in portrait also. thanks for replys! Luke 37071
Hi there, a timeline is a great idea that we'd like to add in the future. In the meantime we do have the basic sorting controls above lists of photos, which it sounds you've found. Thanks for the feedback.
msenjur 0
yeah timeline is useful when we want to find some photos from Nov 2010 for example... but configure it better than Plex, there are some issues in timeline view... :)
sylvio2000 17
Hi. Is there any progress regarding the timeline? Thats the only feature I am missing in Emby and the only reason not to switch from plex ;)
